"2012 Could Look Like 2011 for Browns in Free Agency" (Waiting For Next Year) - I think these are really reasonable expectations for the Browns in the upcoming free agency. I remember at the time, I thought we should have been more aggressive, but after a year and the season to look back on, I don't think it was bad.
"Report: Browns could have $20 million to spend in free agency" (Sun Sentinel via WFNY) - Another good one by WFNY. They point out, according to the Sun Sentinel, the Cleveland Browns have an estimated $103 million in salaries for next season, which could give us about $20 million to spend. The Sun Sentinel article shows all of their projections for the NFL salary cap this year.
"Cleveland Browns" (Pro Football Weekly) - Pro Football Weekly briefly touches on just about everything as far as positions are concerned. They give an offensive and defensive outlook then mention some of the Browns needs.
"Cleveland Browns’ Future at Quarterback: A Fan’s Look" (Yahoo! Contributor Network) - This article takes yet another look at the future for Browns at quarterback. Robert Griffin III is discussed, but I'm not sure that the majority our commenting audience will agree with his take. I understand where he is coming from, but have more optimism regarding RG3.
"Kurt Warner says Eli isn’t a Hall of Famer" (Pro Football Talk) - This is really interesting. Kurt Warner really rips into Eli Manning, but there is some reasoning behind it. He stresses that it's a team game and essentially says being clutch isn't the only thing you need to be inducted to the Hall of Fame.

What the hell are Titans fans thinking? Many times I’ve said Locker will be a star and Hasselbeck is the perfect teacher for that transition. I would be so happy to have their situation and yet they are clamoring for Manning? I know he was a Vol but c’mon.
Washington is perfect for Manning. Absolutely perfect.
Arizona, NYJ, Miami, 49ers are all better for Manning than Washington. Unless Peyton is interested in a first round playoff exit at the very best, Washington is not perfect for him.
Plunkett absolutely should be in the HOF. Also I’m not saying Manning should or shouldn’t today but watch another decade of highlights go by of him making incredible plays to Tyree and manningham and his legend will grow. He’s still pretty young.
The Broncos should be interested in Manning and he should be interested in them. They have a talented enough of a team that he could put them over the top.
This is the only way Elway could get out from under Tebow without alienating the fanbase. Compete with Manning for two years while developing Tebow and then turn the reigns over to him when Peyton retires.
I just sent an email to Chris, I didn’t know anyone else was having this problem. Earlier today SBN went down for a while but all the pages seem to be loading now. However, like you say, no fanposts are showing up.

Also I see what you mean there about him fitting…just don’t understand that those fans want more.
The New Kardiac Kids - February 8, 2012
Agreed. Locker was a guy who could have gone first overall at one point, no need to put a roadblock in his way.
notthatnoise - February 9, 2012
I’d almost rather have our situation. I just don’t like Locker

Love the Morning Chow!

Warner is an idiot. So is Theisman, Washington is perfect for Manning. Absolutely perfect.

If I was Peyton, I wouldn’t go anywhere near D.C.
SpecialBrownie - February 8, 2012
I disagree, also I only said that because they are our cheif rival for RG3 (if we want him).
HenryDawg - February 9, 2012
Ah, now I get it.
Jon @ DBN - February 9, 2012
Eli isn’t a Hall of Famer yet. Warner is actually pretty smart.
If Eli gets in because of this, so should Plunkett.
SpecialBrownie - February 8, 2012
All of this. Eli might turn out to be an HOFer, but if his career ended today, he isn’t. Warner was right.

I don’t think Eli is either.

Close enough.

Thiesman is a tool.

His commercials for Super Beta Prostate are pretty funny though.

Is anyone else’s SBN all f’d up right now? I keep getting error messages and none of the fanposts are showing up on the sidebar.
Dawg Nuts - February 8, 2012
