"[Stafford] received 21 votes, six more than Cleveland linebacker D'Qwell Jackson. San Francisco quarterback Alex Smith finished third, followed by Carolina receiver Steve Smith, Denver defensive end Elvis Dumervil, New England defensive end Andre Carter and Giants quarterback Eli Manning."
It sucks he didn’t get first. But at least he got second. And didn’t lose to plaxico.

Without Johnson, Stafford is a nobody.

I don’t buy that at all. 41 TD passes this year, less than half to Megatron. I’d take him in Brown and Orange any day, dude can play.

I agree with DaveDawg, QBs make WRs more than WRs make QBs. Megatron is a beast regardless, but both players benefit from each other.
Still, I think DQ deserved it more, but as a quarterback league, it’s no surprise that more voters picked the prominent QB.

also a playoff team

Surprised he got second, actually thats pretty cool! Didn’t think he get near as much credit as the pretty boys from the big markets.

DQJ is a good LB, and other teams know it. I hope our FO remembers it too.
