Cleveland Browns fans will have an interest in both of today's playoff games. If the Atlanta Falcons lose in the first-round of the playoffs, Cleveland gets a higher second first-round draft choice in April. Can Matty Ice play an efficient postseason game by hooking up with rookie receiver Julio Jones? Will Eli Manning continue his maturity as a quarterback as Victor Cruz makes defenders miss and their defensive line terrorizes the opposition? Or will we see a "Giant" screw-up? I like the Giants to advance in this one.

Go Giants!
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
Go Giants!
HenryDawg - January 8, 2012
This just in… Matthew Ice has fallen down a well and will not return.
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
Wish taht would have happened for our sake around Week 2
johnf34 - January 8, 2012
That would have been ideal for us.
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
I love the face masks’ of Canty and the other D Linemen. They look like Terminators.
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
Holy crap, what a boring quarter of football.
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
yeah, lots o D
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
Go Giants
emily522 - January 8, 2012
Its been a long time since I’ve cared this much about an NFC wildcard game…
Off-the-Chain - January 8, 2012
this game sucks
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
I have a feeling it’s gonna get interesting here soon.
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
True.
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
I’m actually too nervous to watch because I want the Giants so bad so I flipped to Rubio-Wall instead! Go ELI!
johnf34 - January 8, 2012
The Giants are killing themselves.
notthatnoise - January 8, 2012
The D looks pretty good. Their LB’s are nasty.
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
Their front seven is really good, but their secondary is pretty bad.
notthatnoise - January 8, 2012
Agreed. And they drafted Prince. Is he hurt?
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
A lot of their DBs got hurt during the season.
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
Prince got hurt in pre-season
HenryDawg - January 8, 2012
I thought he made it back for one game this season.
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
Brandon Jacobs is running like an old Jamal Lewis
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
I wanted Herzlich so bad.
SpecialBrownie - January 8, 2012
I feel like their will be some good LBs late in this draft… That dude Neilsen from Iowa caught my eye.
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
I take that back about Jacobs
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
None of tht was Jacobs.
SpecialBrownie - January 8, 2012
He had a nice cut to burn that DB in the second level
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
I could’ve made that cut.
SpecialBrownie - January 8, 2012
Wanted that 3-2 halftime score.
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
You lose on the first quarter score?
SpecialBrownie - January 8, 2012
What?
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
Are you on a scoring bet? Gridsheets?
SpecialBrownie - January 8, 2012
Oh lol nope. Just a 3-2 score for the half would have been real goofy.
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
Tom Coughlin has some balls
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
Was it on 4th down? I don’t have the game on at the moment.
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
They ran it on 4th and inches. got the first down
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
Nice
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
How’d they score, I missed it?
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
Eli to Nicks
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
nice catch by Nicks
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
If we didn’t need Atlanta to lose in order to ensure a higher draft pick, I’d be rooting so hard for the falcons
tr1betime - January 8, 2012 via iPhone app
Me too. I hate the Giants.
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
I hate Eli.
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
Love that Giants team that won the Super Bowl. Simply because they shouldn’t have.
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
That game was epic. I hate the Pats even more than I hate Eli.
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
I actually like the Giants. Hate the Jets.
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
I have more respect for the Pats of today. Hated the Teddy Brusci teams.
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
Screw all of the Bill Belicheat Patriot teams.
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
Facepalm.
SpecialBrownie - January 8, 2012
I don’t have any respect for a Bill Bellichick coached team. The man cheated, and not just some technicality. What he did was pretty blatant cheating.
notthatnoise - January 8, 2012
He got caught. I’m sure their are other successful teams out there that cheat just as much. Just don’t get caught.
Not defending Bellichick, it’s still wrong.
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
You’re naive.
SpecialBrownie - January 8, 2012
Why?
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
Well, not naive, I guess. Just wrong.
SpecialBrownie - January 8, 2012
How?
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
Just because other teams are good they have to be cheating like the Pats? No. It’s already hard enough to cheat in the NFL and when you get caught, it’s a big deal. Probably explains their rings, why Brady is what he is now, etc.
You’re clearly defending him.
SpecialBrownie - January 8, 2012
Oh, ok
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
The infraction wasn’t the fact that they were recording, but the fact that they were on the opponents sideline. If he recorded anywhere else in the stadium, even right behind them in the stands, it wouldn’t have been problem.
I’m sure stuff like this goes on all the time in the NFL
The Licensed Pessimist - January 8, 2012
Wasn’t the problem that they were recording other team’s practices?
HenryDawg - January 8, 2012
No. There wasn’t proof that they did. But Denver got busted doing that last year though.
Brownie's Year - January 9, 2012
The first discount double check commercial was funny. The second one was downright creepy.
SpecialBrownie - January 8, 2012
HA yeah… creepy.
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
I need to see this, I can’t recall having seen it.
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
ROOOODGERSSSS!
emily522 - January 8, 2012
it wasn’t funny…
Mr. Bad Example - January 8, 2012
Giants front is getting to Ice pretty easily. He has no time to throw
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
This game is right up there with Cleveland – Seattle this year. I think I would rather watch Spongebob
champion64 - January 8, 2012
Touch? They made a TV series about Penn State?
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
Eli has that permanent slack jawed look on his face
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
oops
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
shit. bad drop
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
NICE! Falcons don’t want this like the Giants do.
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
lol He did the dirty bird dance!!
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
I don’t think I’ve seen that since Jamal Anderson.
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
did you see Jamal’s tweet about it? funny stuff
Mr. Bad Example - January 8, 2012
Wow
emily522 - January 8, 2012
This is nice.
notthatnoise - January 8, 2012
Finally realized what #17 jersey the old lady is wearing in the commercial.
Brian Sipe. Good choice.
SpecialBrownie - January 8, 2012
yup
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
I was worried about that.
notthatnoise - January 8, 2012
That it was either an Edwards or Delhomme jersey?
SpecialBrownie - January 8, 2012
I figured the only Delhomme jerseys in existence were the ones issued to Delhomme for games.

Oh, and the most recent edition of this one:
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
That’s awful/awesome… Looks like that’s right above the pit by 3rd
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
And he’s missing a couple, too! Ugh.
johnf34 - January 8, 2012
This is an older photo. At the time it was taken, Dorsey was on our roster.
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
Same
emily522 - January 8, 2012
I don’t think the Falcons have a comeback in them. Giants D is nasty
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
Old McDonalds lady is hot
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
Falcons gave up.
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
Fuck yeah! Thanks Falcons
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
Dagger.
SpecialBrownie - January 8, 2012
So this will be what? The 22nd pick?
SpecialBrownie - January 8, 2012
22 or 23.
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
Both of which sound way better than 32.
/captainobvious
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
Falcons beat the lions so proly pick 23.
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
Head-to-head is irrelevant for draft — it all depends on strength of schedule. Lions still probably ahead. We also need the Broncos to win.
TheDriveStillHurts - January 8, 2012
Also it would help if Denver wins wouldn’t it?
HenryDawg - January 8, 2012
Yes!
emily522 - January 8, 2012
By the way, congrats on 5th in the DBN pick ‘em. That’s impressive.
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
I was only 5 behind the winners. Failed to pick a few of those Thursday games.
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
I always picked several weeks in advance. Though it definitely caught me, as the way teams were playing changed drastically.
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
Thanks! I saw that last night.
emily522 - January 8, 2012
Still waiting for Yahoo! Sports to update…
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
Vezoma is beating B19K by 0.1 point in the Showdown. For now…
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
Can’t wait for Tebow v Shittsburgh
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
Hell yeah. Been waiting for 1:30 all damn morning.
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
Is it possible the field opens up and both teams fall into hell?
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
Everyone except Tebow would fall to the depths.
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
I saw it happen in the Dark Knight Rises trailer, it’s very possible.
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
Very possible:
It’s quite a shame Hines survived.
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
Fuck Hines Ward. I hate that mother fucker.
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
I’ve seen 1:30 PM, January 8th, 2012, and it’s overrated.
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
yeah this game sucked but I think it showed how good NY can be.
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
I don’t get it
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
Nevermind. I got it. haha
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
We in Ohio are in the future. Granted, not Australian future, but future none-the-less.
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
I hope we see Quinn for the laughs.
emily522 - January 8, 2012
good call
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
There’s more playoff spots then good teams this year…I highly doubt this Pit/Den game will be a contest.
redCel - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Ben is banged up… No Mendenhall, no Pouncy. Those are key players. I’d say their is a good chance for a competitive game.
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
The steelers are extremely injured. The Tebows have done well against limping teams
The Licensed Pessimist - January 8, 2012
If that Denver front can get to Ben all game, they have a chance. They gotta score some points somehow, though.
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
I predict the Broncos just might win this. The offense will probably have a horrible game, but they will pull it out.
The Licensed Pessimist - January 8, 2012
I hope you’re right. I’d love nothing more today.
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
I don’t. I don’t want to experience the hype that comes along with Tebow beating an ex-superbowl champ, and the ignoring just how injured and broken the Steelers are which made it possible. Pittsburgh sucks as a team right now, so they’ll lose sooner or later.
The Licensed Pessimist - January 8, 2012
Just turn off ESPN and you’ll be alright
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
I’m skeptical.
I’m expecting the blowout that everyone outside of Pitt is afraid of. Just enough to be painfully boring to watch too.
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
32-6 Pitt
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
Somewhere around there, maybe 24 – 3, just to be extra boring.
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
Don’t get me wrong, Denver is horrible. But they’re at home and Shitt is all banged up.
Denver D might bring their big boy pants and keep it close. Hell, the Browns did in both games.
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
Unlike this game, I have a feeling it’s gonna come down to a few big plays.
LocalMan - January 8, 2012
as much as it hurts to type this….go broncos?

Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
SMUG.
SpecialBrownie - January 8, 2012
New NFL rule. Tackling no longer allowed.
SpecialBrownie - January 8, 2012
Only a matter of time, knock on wood.
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
GIANTS!!! Woohoo
johnf34 - January 8, 2012
Congrats to Vezoma, defeated B19K in The DBN Three League Showdown by just 0.1
Simmsinns - January 8, 2012
Brownsboy didn’t pick anyone? He must have felt bad about his auto-pick championship.
Brownie's Year - January 8, 2012
