Now that the standings for the 2011 regular season are set in stone, the opponents (not the order) that the Cleveland Browns will meet during the 2012 season at home and on the road have been confirmed. Not including their AFC North divisional match-ups, here are there opponents for 2012:
Home Games
Buffalo Bills
Kansas City Chiefs
San Diego Chargers
Philadelphia Eagles
Washington Redskins
Road Games
Indianapolis Colts
Denver Broncos
Oakland Raiders
Dallas Cowboys
New York Giants

The Browns are facing the AFC West and the NFC East next season. If you go based off of this season, both divisions were mediocre. The AFC West saw its division winner finish with an 8-8 record, and the NFC East had their division winner finish with a 9-7 record. Those were the worse two divisions winners (record-wise) in the NFL.
All of the home and road opponents were actually known prior to this week except for the Buffalo Bills game. Because Buffalo lost and Miami won, Miami finished better in the standings, which means the Browns are paired with the fourth-place finishing Bills.
Obviously, a lot will change before the start of next season, but some interesting storylines could involve the Browns facing the Colts (the Peyton Manning/Andrew Luck/trade up scenario), the Browns facing Tim Tebow (just because it's...TEBOW), Michael Vick coming back to Cleveland, and Romeo Crennel possibly coming back to coach at Browns stadium.

If we lose against tebow….
The Licensed Pessimist - January 2, 2012
For some reason I see our defense containing him.
macdowellm03 - January 2, 2012 via Android app
Not if he pulls that damn play where he ascends to the sky and floats into the end zone for a touchdown.
The Licensed Optimist - January 2, 2012
Tebow transcends again. Amazing.
Johnnypronto - January 2, 2012
I’d like to see him to try that when God himself is playing for the other team. He’ll wake up in the locker room in a puddle of syrup.
Dawg Nuts - January 2, 2012
I think teams are starting to figure him out.
emily522 - January 2, 2012
Here’s the formula: he isn’t any good.
Dawg Nuts - January 2, 2012
The only tough part is we’re going to have to wear the Brown jerseys in Dallas..
johnf34 - January 2, 2012
I really hope we go back to the Brown home Jerseys next year. I couldn’t stand watching the Steelers wear their home black uni’s in our stadium yesterday. Plus I really like the way the brown looks
tr1betime - January 2, 2012
Agree completely!!!!
OldTimeDawg - January 2, 2012
The white jersey is a tribute to when Cleveland was a powerhouse and they traditionally wore white at home.
champion64 - January 3, 2012
I get that, but the team itself isn’t exactly a tribute to those good teams way back when, so why do the jerseys have to be? I like the white on white, they’re classy, but it gets boring to wear the same boring uniforms for all 16 games. Plus I really like the brown ones
tr1betime - January 3, 2012
Awesome. I hope we wear the browns again next year.
HenryDawg - January 2, 2012
Yea I want to see it happen once but I’ll take the rest in white since I like that look more. Is it Shurmur who decides this?
johnf34 - January 2, 2012
I think Holmgren made the call this year. The whites grew on me through the year. I think as long as they win they could wear beige and nobody would complain.
HenryDawg - January 2, 2012
FWIW, Nike is replacing Reebok as the official uniform provider. Doubt that changes much in our uni’s but they may be slightly different.
HenryDawg - January 2, 2012
This looks rough.
notthatnoise - January 2, 2012
i can guarantee that i will be there for at least one game to watch all of my bills loving friends see their bills lose IN CLEVELAND for once.
pwndabear - January 2, 2012
First all safety game…Browns win 4-2
jonnyphoenix - January 2, 2012
Has their ever been a 0-0 tie?
Heavysoviet - January 2, 2012 via mobile
i expect great thib
pwndabear - January 2, 2012
Thought we’d play the Colts at home since we played in Indy this year.
Heavysoviet - January 2, 2012 via mobile
I am okay with it. I went to this years game, and now I can go to another one! Although Manning might be back to pick us apart.
BiggieBrown - January 2, 2012
Same with Oakland
HenryDawg - January 2, 2012
Nostalgia
My electric football game when I was 7 was the Browns vs. Giants. Usually they all ended up in one corner on ‘earthquake’ mode. Pre-Madden, still don’t know why they sold so many units (and still do today) as the game was virtually impossible to run.
Reminiscent, in many ways, of our tackling skills this year.
Cato - January 2, 2012
Yeah, I was at the Colts/Browns game this year as well. Am worried about Manning, and I am disappointed we’re not playing the Dolphins next year. Rather take my chances with them than a healthy Buffalo squad with Fred Jackson.
Heavysoviet - January 2, 2012 via mobile
Reply fail. Meant for BiggieBrown.
Heavysoviet - January 2, 2012 via mobile
I’ll predict 7-9 once again.
emily522 - January 2, 2012
If McCoy starts I could see 7-8 wins. If its a rookie it probably won’t be that many.
HenryDawg - January 2, 2012
Can we please let the fresh wounds close before starting this conversation?
DaveDawg09 - January 2, 2012
Sorry but I’m not really feeling those wounds. I thought they played the last part of the season which was tough as any as well as could be expected. Just looking forward to being better next year.
HenryDawg - January 2, 2012
I was happy with how the team closed out the year, given how the rest of it went.
notthatnoise - January 2, 2012
I live in denver, best believe i’m going tothat game
lightninmcqueen - January 2, 2012 via mobile
What’s the chance of playing on Thanksgiving Day in Dallas?
Spidey - January 2, 2012 via mobile
slim.
notthatnoise - January 2, 2012
I see a rerun of this when the Bills come to town….
Kosar19 - January 2, 2012
my gauranteed get-on-sportscenter sign: “I came from Buffalo to watch the Bills lose”
its kind of a lie as im about an hour west of buffalo but it sounds so much better this way.
pwndabear - January 3, 2012
That was a scary play!
tribe71 - January 3, 2012
Gah, why did we have to get Indy as a 4th place team in 2012? Freakin’ Cleveland curse.
bross09 - January 2, 2012
Eh, time for the Browns to start having the attitude that they’re not scared to play anyone.
HenryDawg - January 2, 2012
the browns always play the colts close it seems. if we get some offense, we’ll be better.
athensdawg - January 2, 2012
We beat Drew Brees and Tom Brady last year, I’m not scared of a banged up Manning. He’s still a strong opponent, but I think we’ve faced tougher ones.
Heavysoviet - January 2, 2012 via mobile
the problem with that game is it’s a game that’s supposed to be fairly even based on previous season’s standings. It just kinda sucks. Would rather play the Jags again.
bross09 - January 2, 2012
That would be an interesting game if it is Luck vs. Griffin.
Bernie19Kosar - January 2, 2012
If Indy takes luck. part of my gut is telling me that with the recent move, Luck may not be as much of a lock to them.
OT: And as I type this, Justin Blackmon has his 8th catch. Part of me wants to take Blackmon over Griffin after watching him play right now.
bross09 - January 3, 2012
If Indy does not take LUCK we BETTER DO WHATEVER TO GET HIM
champion64 - January 3, 2012
Is your caps lock key BROKEN?
Bernie19Kosar - January 4, 2012
Figures there would be a matchup that would spoil our perfect season.
JustBob - January 3, 2012 via iPhone app
That game against the Giants in NY concerns me. I think that has the potential to ruin our undefeated season.
Dawg Nuts - January 2, 2012
But I wouldn’t be upset about 18-1.
Dawg Nuts - January 2, 2012
Can’t wait to tailgate in the Meadowlands next year . . .
