List of Former Browns Players Still Alive in the Postseason

Which former members of the Cleveland Browns are still in the hunt for the Lombardi Trophy? There are at least ten players by my count, all of whom are listed after the jump.

Star-divide

Do you hope any of these individual players can capture a Super Bowl ring? I think if there is one player we'd be rooting for, it would be Vickers.

Blake Costanzo. Not because I like him in particular but because I like the 9ers. I also hope Vickers doesn’t get a ring because that would mean Garcia would get one. Screw Jeff Garcia.

and Delhomme.

I don’t hate Delhomme.

How come you hate Garcia? I don’t remember him doing anythiing dickish?

He quit on the Browns when he was here.

After he signed, he complained about the offense, he complained about the coaches, complained about the Cleveland area, etc.

Also heard he was a pain in the ass in the locker room, and didn’t get along with his team mates. There is a story that after Butch Davis quit, Robiskie called the team together and asked for a leader to stand. Everyone kind of expected Garcia to stand up, but he looked at the floor. Luke McCown stood up instead.

He was cut after one season in a four year deal. He can flip off for all I care.

The one thing I will always like about Garcia is when he nailed that ref in the nuts with the football. Classic NFL Follies moment.

Thanks, I always hated when they brought him here because he’s the rare exception where his receiver, T.O. helped him more than vice versa. I didn’t hear about all the locker room crap. Also agree that Delhomme was a good guy.

He’s an all world douche.

I’ll tell you who I am not rooting for is Gerard Warren. When he was with the Browns, he was a major underachiever, and we can thank Butch Davis for that. To be honest, I was surprised to see that he is still in the league.

Just shows that when DTs can stay healthy, they stick around in the league for a long time even if they aren’t that good.

Warren’s issue was never his talent, hence teams keep him around.

He could be dominant for a series, then disappear for the rest of the game.

We had Lance Moore?

Oops.

He’s a FA this year. I wonder if he wants to come back to the team that cut him for Frisman Jackson?

I never knew that one either.

Vickers yes, but not Houston. I don’t want another team getting a Lombardi trophy before us.

The only teams left that I hate are the Ratbirds and the Belicheats. For that reason, I hope any team beats either of them.

I do think it’d be awesome if the Tebows win it all though. Second to that, I think it’d be cool for Houston to win it, just as proof that it is in fact possible. Other than those 2 teams I hate and the 2 teams that’d be cool, no preference.

I hate Baltimore. I hate Denver. And I hate New England. Houston is the only team left in the AFC I don’t hate. With that said I would rather see a team from the NFC win the Super Bowl so we don’t have a situation with Houston winning it before us.

I’d like to see Green Bay win again. I just really like Rodgers.

I like Green Bay and Rodgers too, especially if it means beating the Pats or Ratbirds. But think it’d be cool to see Houston win it, even without Schaub.

And then there were only 3……
