The Browns and Jaguars have played pretty even, but Jacksonville leads 10-7 at the half. Can the Browns come out and put some more points on the board in the second half?

SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
Yes!
emily522 - November 21, 2010
I missed something. Who is this Smit dude returning kicks? Is he that RB we put on the practice squad a while back?

North Coast Flea - November 21, 2010
Injuries
I can understand so far the difficulties on the defensive side, and of course limitations on offense with Cribbs out, but christ our o-line needs to show up at some point in this game or this could get ugly.
burntorangeandbrown - November 21, 2010
I would really like to see some of that UFO defense this half.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
I would really like to see Watson back on the field :(
BuenosAires_Dawg - November 21, 2010
He has been.
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
He has already been back on the field.
JustBob - November 21, 2010

golanbatrac - November 21, 2010

BuenosAires_Dawg - November 21, 2010

SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
Dude. Elam is everywhere.
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010

emily522 - November 21, 2010
SACK!
Awesome start, D!!!
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Wow. We got lucky with that non-call.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
SACKKKK
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
OMG, Benard’s swim move is sick.
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
Benard up to 6.5 sacks for the year.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
That’s one for every down he’s played.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
O YA
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
You idiot. You made the fair catch. You can’t run.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
I laughed out loud after he started to run.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
Looked like he got nipped though, which I think defaults a fair catch.
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
Lucky we didn’t get flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct there.
Chris Pokorny - November 21, 2010
That’s the result of running off a fair catch?
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
Sometimes, because you are almost egging the coverage team to illegally tackle you if they then think you didn’t call for a fair catch.
Chris Pokorny - November 21, 2010
Is the ATDHE stream down?
jpmxch - November 21, 2010
Miss DQwell
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010

RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
Elam stepping up for the D – very nice.
burntorangeandbrown - November 21, 2010
Let’s tie it up or take the lead here. O-line needs to step up.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
Can’t. St. Claire is in.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
Nice McCoy!
emily522 - November 21, 2010

BuenosAires_Dawg - November 21, 2010
Um…. no. It was a nice run for the first down.
emily522 - November 21, 2010

emily522 - November 21, 2010

findlaybrownslover - November 21, 2010
Jeez, he loves the hurrdle.
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
Peyton really does love the hurdle.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
Peyton’s going to kill himself.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Is the hurdle a stat? If so he averages one a game.
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
Hillis, Headed for Olympics
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
Darn.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Smart of moMass to bat that down.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
Ah jeez.
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
We have them pinned deep. Let’s get another stop.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Pick six territory? But they have to start trying to disguise the defense.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
I think missing Fujita makes that tough.
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
Pro Bowler, Reggie Hodges.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
TOUCHDOWN!!!!
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010

DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010

JustBob - November 21, 2010

RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
TOUCHDOWN!!!!
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Holy crap, what a play! I guess going for the strip all those times finally paid off.
Chris Pokorny - November 21, 2010
It definitely works better when you aren’t the only defender there.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
It was out! TOUCHDOWN!
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
MJD knows he lost it.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Elam’s on fire!!!
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
Now if only St. Clair would spontaneously combust.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
Would you throw in Rubin at RT?
BuenosAires_Dawg - November 21, 2010
no.
Dawg Nuts - November 21, 2010
O ye of little faith. Rubin is an upgrade at every position.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
FB if vickers gets hurt.
Dawg Nuts - November 21, 2010
Game ball: Abram Elam!
emily522 - November 21, 2010

DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
That was dumb by Jax. PLAY TO THE WHISTLE GUYS! HAHAHAHAH!
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
A guy in my league has the Browns D and is playing them. He’s smart.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
I’m playing against CLE D AND Hillis. Fuck it, I don’t care.
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
I think i might pick up clevelands D. Carolina next. nice.
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
Hell yes!!! Let’s hope this starts a fire underneath our offense.
Browns town - November 21, 2010
It has started one on defense for sure.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Elam stepping up big time!!!
burntorangeandbrown - November 21, 2010
I half wish they had thrown the challenge flag. One replay wasn’t enough. I’m still not sure what happened.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
Elam legitimately just stripped it and scooped it.
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
They showed it twice. It was legit dude.
Brownie's Year - November 21, 2010
There will be a highlight on nfl.com.

RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
Elam is having a good game. I’m happy for him.
Brownie's Year - November 21, 2010
cool seeing the stunned look on the other team's faces.
orangemocha - November 21, 2010
Man, we always fall for the screen.
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
Look at all those empty seats. It’s sad.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
yeah, they shouldve drafted tebow
jpmxch - November 21, 2010
They might have had he fell to the fourth round where he belonged.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
Whelp, in other news, Aaron Rogers is officially sticking the fork into Favre. 16/25, 242 yards, 3 TD.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
He’s on my team. Much needed. I’m down 20.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Wow lucky that was a bad throw!
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Nice. I want some OFFENSE.
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
He’s short!
emily522 - November 21, 2010
4th and 1. Stop them!
emily522 - November 21, 2010
I smell pass.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
I don’t smell so good.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
My house smells soooo good today. Coffe, cabbage, vinegar and rum soaked tobacco.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
I think we’ll give it up.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
But I hope not!
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Put Elam at DT
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
I never think we’ll stop them on a play like that. Guess I don’t get to see any offense before I leave for work. =[
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
INT BY WARDDDDDDD
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
WARD WITH A PICK, GUYS!!!!
emily522 - November 21, 2010

findlaybrownslover - November 21, 2010
This was my favorite.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
TJ WARD!
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
We’re thin at DB.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
Go D!!!
JustBob - November 21, 2010
Our safeties are making up for all those dropped picks!
Chris Pokorny - November 21, 2010
the magic 8-ball predicted it!
Dawg Nuts - November 21, 2010
GJ TJ!
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
TJ WARD!!!! 1st Interception of his NFL career baby!!
Browns town - November 21, 2010
Now let’s get a score out of this!
emily522 - November 21, 2010
This.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
Wow, D is stepping up. Thank you halftime.
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
Ugh. Run, run, pass?
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Beast time.
portland, oregon - November 21, 2010
Another turnover with a 3 and out. Jesus.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Sonova!
JustBob - November 21, 2010
Barf.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
Ugh, that was on McCoy. COME ON OFFENSE!
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
No where to throw it.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Yeah, but throw it away. That’s 4 sacks.
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
Yeah. It’s frustrating how we’ve had 2 INTs and follow them with 3 and outs. Running it with Hillis on 1st and 2nd was too predictable.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
NO NO NO
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
Well, guess we have to hope for more pick 6’s and scoop TDs.
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
What are Colt’s stats so far.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
11 16 146 68.8 9.1 1 TD 118.2
emily522 - November 21, 2010
11/16, 146, 1 TD, 0 ints
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
11 for 16, for 146 yards and 68.8% with a 118.2 rating
Matt88 - November 21, 2010
I’ll take it.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
If we’re going to play Martyball (2 run 1 pass) we need some receivers with good hands
BuenosAires_Dawg - November 21, 2010
Pathetic performance by the o-line c’mon get fired up and stop that pass rush!
burntorangeandbrown - November 21, 2010
Coleman, get the sack. God.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Those missed sacks are getting annoying.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
Man our D line needs to work on their wrap tackles
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
NOOOOO!!
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
We got it.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
TURNOVERS ARE FUN!
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
OH THANK GOD WE GOT THAT FUMBLE.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
…phew.
SpecialBrownie - November 21, 2010
We are in FG range.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
There’s NO reason Colt should have been sacked 4 times!!
INT BABY!
Matt88 - November 21, 2010
Dammit Haden! Shit!!
JustBob - November 21, 2010
Whew, thank god for Gocong.
Chris Pokorny - November 21, 2010
NOW GET A TD. 3 INTS. COME ON GET SOME POINTS.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Great. Run run pass again?
emily522 - November 21, 2010
awful playcalling today
Dawg Nuts - November 21, 2010
I don’t know. McCoy hasn’t looked great today. I don’t mind them sticking with the run.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
Case in point. He’s been consistently off target.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
O-line hasn’t helped him much either, but yeah he hasn’t looked so good.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
consistently off target??????
11 for 16, for 146 yards and 68.8% with a 118.2 rating
That sure is a bad stat line.
sahyouni - November 21, 2010
The stat line doesn’t tell the whole story. Several (including ones which were caught) should have been picked. He’s been high, he’s been behind receivers, he’s had several passes touched first by Jags.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
agreed.
still a better day than Carson Palmer.
sahyouni - November 21, 2010
okay, but why not throw on 1st down in this spot? i think its too conservative. at least mix it up a little more.
Dawg Nuts - November 21, 2010
This.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
I get what you’re saying. I think with the way we’re getting dominated up front, we’d be asking McCoy to throw with out benefit of the passing lanes he needs. Pure speculation on my part, but I think the game is dictating the gameplan at this point. I doubt they came in with a conservative gameplan, but with Jacksonville pushing our linemen backwards and bringing extra guys outside to eliminate the playaction bootleg, we’re kind of stuck with the plays we’re seeing called. I hope this isn’t the beginning of teams knowing how to exploit McCoy’s weaknesses, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it is.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
It probably is, and hopefully he adjusts. It doesn’t help that they’ve been stuffing Hillis as well.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Heart attack!
portland, oregon - November 21, 2010
O-line can’t even give Hillis room.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
Oh my god. Run, run, pass. They know it’s coming. Now we’re stuck with 3rd and long. Again.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
3 interceptions? What the hell is going on?
StuckInPa - November 21, 2010
fucking a.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
no creativity on offense this week. Is it because they are a considered worse team?
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
THAT IS NOT AN INT!
emily522 - November 21, 2010
CHALLENGE THAT.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Hit the ground.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
hit the ground
findlaybrownslover - November 21, 2010
Block. Block. Block. BLock.
portland, oregon - November 21, 2010
It hit the ground!
JustBob - November 21, 2010
THAT HIT THE GROUND!
Matt88 - November 21, 2010
I don’t mind the balance, but run, run, pass is getting a bit predictable. This should be overturned, but I swear one official was waving it off already.
Chris Pokorny - November 21, 2010
They’ve been acting like it’s already late 4th and they need to run out the clock.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
I really did not want to see Carey get a pick on us.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
Mangini will be challenging that.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
without Cribbs the play calling is vinalia
orangemocha - November 21, 2010
Yahoo has it as an incompletion.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
DAWSON MAKE THIS!
emily522 - November 21, 2010
3 INTs, three 3 and outs.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
10 points off of 4 turnovers. Mehhhhhhhhhhhh.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
so… overturned?
discoinferno083 - November 21, 2010
no, they just called it incomplete
findlaybrownslover - November 21, 2010
cool
discoinferno083 - November 21, 2010
No, JAX fans, that was good.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
I almost didn’t start Greg Jennings.
StuckInPa - November 21, 2010
My opponent has him.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Same here. And I almost didn’t start the Brown’s defense.
kennesawmountainwahoo - November 21, 2010
in other news… bills are coming back. it’s 31-28. …………..
discoinferno083 - November 21, 2010
Let’s go Fitz.
StuckInPa - November 21, 2010
Law of Gus Johnson.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
Colt looking more uncomfortable today against Jags than those better defenses. Play calling, OL shuffle, or game planning against him?
realmccoy - November 21, 2010
Absolutely agree with Chris. We’re extremely predictable on offense. Announcers were mentioning the possibility McCoy is hurt.
BuenosAires_Dawg - November 21, 2010
Hillis only has like 2.5 yards a carry.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Didn’t he have a big run outside, or was that a screen?
JustBob - November 21, 2010
Pass from McCoy.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Down 26 in fantasy. Geez. My WRs need big days.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Injuries a biotch.
realmccoy - November 21, 2010
the play calling on that drive was depressing – almost like we were going for the field goal starting with the 1st down. then we’re forced to throw on 3rd and no protection on the pass rush.
burntorangeandbrown - November 21, 2010
Agree – play calling looks bad – but if we do not make mistakes and they do – should end well.
realmccoy - November 21, 2010
The problem is is that we aren’t getting points off of turnovers. That last drive… the defense knew exactly what we were going to do. And when Colt drops back, the pocket collapses. Jacksonville’s D is keeping them in this game.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Can´t give Ryan enuff credit. D confusing Girard – getting 3 picks. You gotta be kidding me.
realmccoy - November 21, 2010
1 pick was MJD on a trick play.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
We finally stop MJD for a loss!
emily522 - November 21, 2010
This is reminding me a lot of the first two games of the season.
TheDriveStillHurts - November 21, 2010
Shhhhhh.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Please, don’t say that.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
youll start a riot in here saying that!!! lol
findlaybrownslover - November 21, 2010
Next drive, we should do the pitch play to Hillis. Did it a lot vs. New England, and only a little against the Jets. It gives us options to work off of that threat.
Chris Pokorny - November 21, 2010
I was thinking pitch as well.
StuckInPa - November 21, 2010
I really thought we would be able to run better against these guys.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
FIVE TURNOVERS! Wow.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
king-cong!!!
findlaybrownslover - November 21, 2010
Awesome D!
JustBob - November 21, 2010
FUMBLE RECOVERY!!!
GOD CAN WE GET SOME POINTS OFF OF THIS? PLEASE?!
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Nice to see Gocong
bross09 - November 21, 2010
OH MY GOD.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
5 sacks.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Their defensive line is just owning us.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
Yup.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
damn good thing the D is stepping up here
seems like the offense is burnt out from the last 3 weeks all out war??
burntorangeandbrown - November 21, 2010
I think the main problem is that Cribbs is out, Watson is hurt, and the we are playing St. Clair.
bross09 - November 21, 2010
Still trying to figure that last one out.
StuckInPa - November 21, 2010
having st. clair in hurts our pass Pro. a lot of the pressure seems to be coming from that side. then again. the whole O-Line has been underperforming.
bross09 - November 21, 2010
If we somehow find a way to lose this game being +5 on turnovers, I will eat my hat ala golanbatrac.
Browns town - November 21, 2010
Haha.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
I didn’t think that the Jags were such a big time sack team.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
Great. Another 3 and out coming.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
This is ridiculous.
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
5 turnovers, 10 points.
This is ridiculous.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
imagine if they had Kampman
jpmxch - November 21, 2010
Surely Jacksonville’s pass coverage can’t be so dominant to the point where McCoy has to tuck and run every time? I wish I could see the field more on camera; I’d imagine some quick hitters to tight ends would be available.
Chris Pokorny - November 21, 2010
Chris, do you not to get to go to the games?
jpmxch - November 21, 2010
Just watching at home on TV.
Chris Pokorny - November 21, 2010
Incredibly inept play by the offense
BuenosAires_Dawg - November 21, 2010
I thought Browns had an o-line – where are they today?
burntorangeandbrown - November 21, 2010
itr’s not all on them, mccoy has had chances to get rid of the ball. He’s scrambling and running for his life sometimes when a quick slant pass should do.
BuenosAires_Dawg - November 21, 2010
he’s getting wrapped up by their D every play before he has a chance to start his legs in motion.
burntorangeandbrown - November 21, 2010
Just gotta start getting the turnovers in FG range, I guess.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
I know Colt hasn’t played very well, but that offensive line isn’t helping the situation at all. Their D-line has shut out Hillis too. Credit to their D. We should be dominating this game, getting 5 turnovers.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
their D is getting to Colt every play for christ sake.
burntorangeandbrown - November 21, 2010
he’s not played well the second half, he’s not even looking downfield.
BuenosAires_Dawg - November 21, 2010
If we lose this game, I may die. 5 turnovers.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Rob Ryan will have a head coaching job next year.
StuckInPa - November 21, 2010
I would hope that he stays. Build a defensive juggernaut.
JamesPowell - November 21, 2010
Quarterbacks never look good when they don’t get protection.
JamesPowell - November 21, 2010
I hate to say it, but our QB is playing like a rookie this half. It was bound to happen some time. Our O-line isn’t helping him, but he’s got to throw it away and not take those sacks.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
Yup. I agree with you. Good learning experience.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
What’s up with the Browns offensive line? It
portland, oregon - November 21, 2010
Is this serious? 6 turnovers?
Wow.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
ward again baby
findlaybrownslover - November 21, 2010
6 TURNOVERS. GET SOME DAMN POINTS NOW.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
But there is another pick!!! Holy cow!!
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
Alas, not in FG range.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
This is going to be a laughingstock if we don’t win this damn game. Another interception. Our offense needs to put at least a fricking field goal on the board.
Chris Pokorny - November 21, 2010
I’m going to be so damn pissed if we lose. It’s ridiculous.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Great play by Brown again. Second time he’s helped Ward get a pick.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
They know we’re running it.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Ward!
portland, oregon - November 21, 2010
I want to see a TD off this turnover or I’ll be pissed.
burntorangeandbrown - November 21, 2010
3rd and long. Again.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
So what did the 8-ball say about Ward’s interception?
North Coast Flea - November 21, 2010
At least they got positive yards on that play.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
There’s that pitch to Hillis that Chris was asking for.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
Let’s give their defense props though. They’re playing great football.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
My God, it’s Metcalf-up-the-middle.
portland, oregon - November 21, 2010
Robo….sigh.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
McCoy needed to lead him there.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
It hit Robo’s hands. No reason why he shouldn’t have made that catch.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
he did lead Robiskie. the problem is it was robiskie.
bross09 - November 21, 2010
It was late.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
it did not look at all late.
even so, lets assume that mccoy made a mistake and it was late. if you watch the play, robiskie still has it in his hands and it is in the upper body area (not having to catch by his feet). as a WR in the NFL, you HAVE to make that play.
bross09 - November 21, 2010
Yup. Agreed.
But let’s just not argue about it now. It’s over.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
It was late. He gave the DB time to catch up and get his hands in there to break it up. He could have caught it but it was a difficult catch.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
Exactly.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
it didn’t look THAT difficult. even if he DB doesn’t get his hands in there, I don’t think thats a catch. the way it looked, the DB helped to cause the incompletion, but in the end it was a drop by Robo.
bross09 - November 21, 2010
Bross, just stop. It’s over.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
okay…I mean, I was fine stopping it right there, but BB had to correct me as usual b/c his view of things had to be right…
bross09 - November 21, 2010
And you had to repond because you thought your view was right . . . .
We could do this all day long.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
word.
North Coast Flea - November 21, 2010
Catch the ball Robiskie!! Dammit.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
ROBISKIE CATCH THE DAMN BALL. God. Good throw.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Not really. It was late.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
It did not look like that at all.
bross09 - November 21, 2010
We’re going for a FG?
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Sheldon Brown showing his veteran play and instincts on both INTs
BuenosAires_Dawg - November 21, 2010
embarassing
Dawg Nuts - November 21, 2010
good decision by McCoy. He felt the pressure and decided to pass. too bad he threw to Robiskie.
bross09 - November 21, 2010
MY GOD. THIS IS RIDICULOUS.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Jesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssus.
This game is just confusing.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
arrrrrgggg
Chris Pokorny - November 21, 2010
Gannon was right, McCoy waited too long to throw that pass to Robo. Gave the DB a chance to make a play.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
Yup.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
This should be a 20 point game at the least.
Browns town - November 21, 2010
This is just killing Phil’s stat line.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
But it may give Ward an outside shot at a Pro Bowl selection.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
surprised they wouldn’t put colt in the shotgun that last play
johnnyphoenix - November 21, 2010
I remember Robiskie as having great hands.
portland, oregon - November 21, 2010
who?
johnnyphoenix - November 21, 2010
It’s not like he dropped any easy one a la BE.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
You’re kidding, right?
JamesPowell - November 21, 2010
The DB got his hands in there to make it a difficult catch.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
I am tired of watching the second-half clogged toilet offense every game
Cant_buy_a_run - November 21, 2010
This is painful.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
I want to know where the flag was for the 2nd (late) hit on Robo after the ball was loose and he was on the ground.
North Coast Flea - November 21, 2010
I think what BB said above is accurate too. Colt is a rookie, they’re getting a ton of pressure, our running game isn’t doing well at all…and he’s gonna have games like this. We’re just VERY lucky our defense is playing out of their minds.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
Yeah I agree with Brad too.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Can we at least TRY to throw deep??
sww2109 - November 21, 2010
We have. And the pass pro has sucked and resulted in sacks.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
WHERE THE FUCK IS OUR OFFENSIVE LINE?!?!?!?!?
DaveDawg09 - November 21, 2010
Nice coverage, Haden.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
It appears the injuries and fatigue from 5 weeks of hell have taken a toll on the Brownies.
burntorangeandbrown - November 21, 2010
Great. They’ve got a short field now. How about we kneel down every drive and give it back to them deep?
BuenosAires_Dawg - November 21, 2010
so happy that wasnt Wright on the deep pass.
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
He would have been too busy blaming the safeties to get his hand in there.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
Good play by Haden to break up that pass, but a better throw would have been an easy TD. We got lucky.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
a perfect throw would have been a TD. that was not a bad throw. that looked to be an above average throw. yes, we got lucky a bit but its not like he capitalized on a terrible throw.
bross09 - November 21, 2010
What are you talking about? The WR was wide open — they didn’t need a perfect throw to get a TD. It was a horrible throw, which is why Haden had time to catch up to him.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
that did not at all look like a horrible throw at all.
bross09 - November 21, 2010
The WR had Haden beat by at least 5 yards but had to stop to wait for the ball, which let Haden catch up. How is that not a horrible throw?
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
SACK!
emily522 - November 21, 2010
TUBA
Dawg Nuts - November 21, 2010
RUBIN!!
JustBob - November 21, 2010
RUBIN HUNGRY!
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
TUBA!
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
2nd and 18. Come on.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Yes!
portland, oregon - November 21, 2010
They’re going to go for it on 4th down.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Wow. A stop on 3rd.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
Let’s see if we can get a stop on 4th.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
How the hell did that happen?
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
Where is the damn pressure?
portland, oregon - November 21, 2010
We just sacked him two plays ago!
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
Why shouldn’t they go for it? We suck on offense today.
portland, oregon - November 21, 2010
I have a bad feeling about how the rest of this game is going to play out.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Ironically, this is pretty optimistic for a Browns fan.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
you too huh?
Cant_buy_a_run - November 21, 2010
We should be up by 21
portland, oregon - November 21, 2010
that’s what happens when every second half you bring out the clogged toilet offense
Cant_buy_a_run - November 21, 2010
Great.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Dont Break my heart Cleveland.
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
wrong team to support if you’re faint of heart
BuenosAires_Dawg - November 21, 2010
they won’t, they will stomp and crush it into a million pieces.
Cant_buy_a_run - November 21, 2010
Makes you realize what Cribbs means to this team.
portland, oregon - November 21, 2010
I don’t think Cribbs plays on the offensive line.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
Here we go…
emily522 - November 21, 2010
This game is an embarassment to the NFL.
TheDriveStillHurts - November 21, 2010
This really sucks.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
what’s the situation?
discoinferno083 - November 21, 2010
dire, as usual
Cant_buy_a_run - November 21, 2010
Yup. I’m right.
They will get a TD and tie. We will go 3 and out. They win on a late FG.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Stop. Think it, don’t post it.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
We don’t deserve this football game, Win/lose, not happy with the performance.
BuenosAires_Dawg - November 21, 2010
is the screw Daboll train back? Cuz i’m always down for a ride.
discoinferno083 - November 21, 2010
it may be gassing up right now
Cant_buy_a_run - November 21, 2010
Daboll can’t make the O-line block or McCoy make good throws or smart decisions with the ball. You can’t blame everything on the play caller.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
I blame the o-line.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
I give credit to the Jags. They figured us out.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
Well of course credit goes to them too.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
you can blame not mixing up the playcalling in the 2nd half on the OC. I have not been fond of the creativity of the playcalling this half.
That being said, if the O-Line was doing well, we would likely be ahead.
bross09 - November 21, 2010
He tried mixing it up but we haven’t been able to pass OR run. What else is there to do?
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
I guess I disagree with you on him mixing it up. How many times did we go run run pass?
it doesn’t matter really. I liked the pass on first down to Moore and it was well executed.
bross09 - November 21, 2010
But when we tried passing on first down that didn’t work either.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
This game can’t be blamed on him. At all.
TheDriveStillHurts - November 21, 2010
maybe, I’ll think about who is to blame later, but the offense has regressed back to last season’s level
BuenosAires_Dawg - November 21, 2010
Browns D is gassed.
portland, oregon - November 21, 2010
they are probably pissed, 5 straight turnovers and nothing for it? ridiculous.
Cant_buy_a_run - November 21, 2010
Blah, blah, blah.
Would all of you self loathing pricks shut up already?
Guess what? The most deserving team doesn’t always win.
It’s not over yet.
wh116508 - November 21, 2010
not self loathing, just tired of watching the team take dumps at midfield coming out of every half on offense.
Cant_buy_a_run - November 21, 2010
Floyd Womack better be hurt.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
Huh?? He is.
TheDriveStillHurts - November 21, 2010
SACK.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Big sack by the D. Let’s see if they can’t just win this game in spite of our offense.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
Whewwwwwwwwwwww. COME ON DEFENSE.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
The offense looked bleak right before that TD drive against JETs. If they tie it – we go down the field and break their hearts with a GWFG. Book it.
realmccoy - November 21, 2010
That was lucky.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
4 down territory here.
realmccoy - November 21, 2010
Fuck.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
Jesus Christ. This game shouldn’t even be tied. We should be winning by 20.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
great
Cant_buy_a_run - November 21, 2010
This is so Clevelandesque
Browns town - November 21, 2010
shit.
LondonBrown - November 21, 2010
They deserve it.
TheDriveStillHurts - November 21, 2010
Come on, where’s you spirit. We are set up for the Big Finish!
JamesPowell - November 21, 2010
Can’t believe this.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Whelp. Colt. Go win it.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
darlin, this is the big one! im coming to see ya!!
findlaybrownslover - November 21, 2010
Alright McCoy, time to stop playing like a rookie. We need some points here.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
Our o-line just can’t play with them.
TheDriveStillHurts - November 21, 2010
hmph.
discoinferno083 - November 21, 2010
Need some pass protection here.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
If we’re going to make a drive here we need to not have smith return the ball and have us pinned inside our 20.
North Coast Flea - November 21, 2010
Just need to get into FG range. Which will be tough enough.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
EVAN MOORE1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
LOOK AT THAT THROW!!! NICE THROW!
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Evan Moore!!!
emily522 - November 21, 2010
What the hell has happened to our OL? Who’s playing o the right side?
LondonBrown - November 21, 2010
St. Claire.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
Luvao at gurad not having a good one??
LondonBrown - November 21, 2010
What a thorw and catch!!
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
Keep telling McCoy to stop being a rookie, Brad.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Haha!
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
Don’t score too quickly!
JamesPowell - November 21, 2010
Now this is a typical Browns game. Lost my feed too. Great.
BuenosAires_Dawg - November 21, 2010
I didn’t start Steve Johnson. Fuck.
I’ve got Calvin Johson, Brandon Lloyd, Greg Jennings, and Steve Johnson. How could I have known. Fuck.
StuckInPa - November 21, 2010
Dont feel bad. i almost benched johnson for moss
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
I didnt either. shit.
bross09 - November 21, 2010
They need to put him in Moore.
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
I guess that’s what I’m talking about
burntorangeandbrown - November 21, 2010
whoops
I guessthat’s what I’m talking aboutburntorangeandbrown - November 21, 2010
I’ve been wondering where Moore had been all game.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
Oh man… big third down.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
hey stuckey got out of bounds!!
findlaybrownslover - November 21, 2010
You beat me by two seconds. I saw yours and canceled mine.
JamesPowell - November 21, 2010
I thought this too.
North Coast Flea - November 21, 2010
HAVE to pick this up.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
COLT!!!!!!
emily522 - November 21, 2010
His ankle is bothering him.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Oh shit. What a run by Colt. He’s limping though.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
oh shit!!
findlaybrownslover - November 21, 2010
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Cant_buy_a_run - November 21, 2010
Great play by McCoy!!
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
Funny Thought
I never think a game is lost when McCoy is playing.
God do we miss him this year at Texas
sahyouni - November 21, 2010
Three QBs with bad ankles.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
No way he’s going out.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
Lets bang this one in for a TD
LondonBrown - November 21, 2010
Colt shoulda used the cheerleader to slow him down.
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
Keep an eye on Mack. I know I’ve said it over and over again for the last two years, but he really struggles against a four man front. He doesn’t get beat so much as he’s late and not a factor in a lot of plays.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
Guess he doesn’t see them that often- they need to work on it though
LondonBrown - November 21, 2010
If Colt has a high-ankle sprain, I am going to lose it.
TheDriveStillHurts - November 21, 2010
this
burntorangeandbrown - November 21, 2010
what’s our field position?
discoinferno083 - November 21, 2010
20 yard line.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
ours?
discoinferno083 - November 21, 2010
Theirs.
North Coast Flea - November 21, 2010
Jacksonville’s. We’re in FG range.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
oh. frig yeah.
hillis.
discoinferno083 - November 21, 2010
Looks like McCoy was playing hurt like the announcers hinted.
BuenosAires_Dawg - November 21, 2010
Yes he’s really limping now.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
RUN THE BALL.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
X3
JustBob - November 21, 2010
The BEAST must reign now.
portland, oregon - November 21, 2010
Wow the Bills have really come back against Cincy.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
yeah. Pretty sweet game. gonna be a good finish.
discoinferno083 - November 21, 2010
Let’s just pick up this third down and run out the clock.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
Scoring on the last play, of course.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
We need a touchdown.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
A TD run here would be so sweet.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
Throw it here I guess. Might as well go for the throat.
realmccoy - November 21, 2010
At no point in this game did we ever appear to consider going for throat
dgcambridge - November 21, 2010
TD to Moore. Calling it.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Oh just kidding.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
We need to drain those timeouts
JamesPowell - November 21, 2010
Wow. Our offensive line has just been slaughtered.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
no time to do anything
sahyouni - November 21, 2010
Dammit Colt. You can’t take a sack there.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
OL – not at their finest.
realmccoy - November 21, 2010
didn’t really hurt to take that sack
sahyouni - November 21, 2010
better than forcing something.
sahyouni - November 21, 2010
And the clock is ticking.
North Coast Flea - November 21, 2010
or not.
North Coast Flea - November 21, 2010
Take a sack? He’s got an injury and can’t get out of the pocket – why are we even risking a pass?
DaveDawg09 - November 21, 2010
the D was all over him and it didn’t seem like he could even find passing lanes in time. I wish he got it out of there, but that was a total O-Line breakdown.
bross09 - November 21, 2010
McCoy sacked. Didn’t see that coming.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
Dawson, please.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Come on Phillip.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
WHY DID WE JUST RUN THAT PLAY?!?!? wtf?
DaveDawg09 - November 21, 2010
do i even want to know?
fake fg or something?
discoinferno083 - November 21, 2010
We’re up by three now. McCoy took a sack on third down to quick pressure.
North Coast Flea - November 21, 2010
OH MY GOD…
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Christ. We’re making them look like the Bears (of ’85)
LondonBrown - November 21, 2010
THANK GOD!
Come on, defense.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Should have run the pitch to Hillis, student body left.
portland, oregon - November 21, 2010
Whelp. Our defense has played well.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
Why O-LINE WHY???
jpmxch - November 21, 2010
Even when we can’t count on Phil, we can count on Phil.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
Dawson’s got ice water in his veins
Browns town - November 21, 2010
Ugh…I’m still too nervous. Come on defense, force Garrard into a bad play again.
Chris Pokorny - November 21, 2010
2:46 ain't a whole lot of time with no TOs- need to cover those flanks
LondonBrown - November 21, 2010
Scobee is a good FG kicker.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Really need the D to come up big here.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
again.
LondonBrown - November 21, 2010
Time for Ward’s 3rd INT.
North Coast Flea - November 21, 2010
We’ve got the lead again. Let’s go defense!!
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
Why havent we been doing screens to Hillis?
jpmxch - November 21, 2010
da balls?
discoinferno083 - November 21, 2010
They’re covering the flats with delayed blitzes. The screen isn’t there.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
I know he hasn’t played great, but that throw/catch to Moore was so crucial.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Long field. Come on, Browns D.

Gerrard’s got a cannon. I thought the book on him was a weak arm?
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
they got time, but they also have 87 yards to go. thats hard to do even with as much time as possible.
bross09 - November 21, 2010
They can get a FG and take it into OT.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
only takes 1 play..

findlaybrownslover - November 21, 2010
We’re going to let them score on first down for time.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
That’s what I was thinking as he got inside the 10.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
What. The. Hell.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
Can’t believe it.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
I never imagined anything like that. God hates Cleveland.
JamesPowell - November 21, 2010
At least we have enough time on the clock. Of course the way the O has looked – it is bleak.

Wow. Story of our lives?

This. Is. Lame.
North Coast Flea - November 21, 2010

JustBob - November 21, 2010
what happened?

You don’t want to know.
North Coast Flea - November 21, 2010

75 yards off a screen and pathetic tackling.

This is awful.

So stupid. Just let them score! Can’t even do that.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Must put Joe Haden in on the kick return here.

Two comments on WFNY some this up.
and
Jags didn’t think pass once today an I don’t blame them.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
I basically just said this to my wife when she asked how the game was going.
North Coast Flea - November 21, 2010
On the bright side we can’t lose in OT
:-/
LondonBrown - November 21, 2010
Really, what do you expect from the offense when your only real threat and third of your playbook gets thrown out?
wh116508 - November 21, 2010
So with that -3 90%… what was our chance to win this game? 99.9999999%?
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Anyone just see McCoy fumble the water bottle hand off?
North Coast Flea - November 21, 2010
We’ve got 80 yards to go, just over a minute remaining, and nothing to lose but our chains.
JamesPowell - November 21, 2010
If they can do it, we can do it!
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
McCoy getting some good throws.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
God, GET OUT OF BOUNDS.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Of course he is, they’re in prevent.
wh116508 - November 21, 2010
2nd game in a row where stuckey dances and it hurts us majorly
bross09 - November 21, 2010
Huh? He was trying to get out of bounds but the defense stopped him. Not his fault.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
It looked like if he had sprinted to the side, he could have gotten out of bounds. He had a little stutter step there though.
Browns town - November 21, 2010
That’s because there was a defender in his way that he was trying to avoid.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
he didn’t run directly to the sideline. If stuckey isn’t being stuckey, he gets out of bounds.
bross09 - November 21, 2010
Once again, that’s because there were defenders in his way. He did the best he could to get out of bounds, the defense just stopped him. There was nothing he could do.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
the defenders were in front of him. I don’t remember seeing any on the sideline.
I don’t agree that he did his best to get out of bounds.
bross09 - November 21, 2010
He was at least 10 yards from the sideline when he caught the ball. The defenders were in front of him but also between him and the sideline, so when he started running towards the sideline they were in his way. They knew he wanted to go out of bounds so they were doing everything they could to keep that from happening.
He wasn’t going to make it out of bounds no matter what he did. The defenders were in his way. He ran a little backwards to try getting around the defenders to get out of bounds. That was his only option.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
This is correct. Barring a superhuman leap by Suckey, he was pretty much screwed. He could have intentionally dropped the pass, but you just gotta be instinctual and you never know what will happen after that catch.
rufio - November 21, 2010
Could have used some of those TOs.
JustBob - November 21, 2010

Six turnovers and missed opportunities.
This sucks so badly. This is just awful.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
I’m not even turning on any NFL highlights this entire week.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
That bounced off of Watson’s numbers. he should have caught it.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
We wouldn’t have had time left.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Well Colt certainly had a bloody good crack at getting it.
Shame about the non existant WRs.
LondonBrown - November 21, 2010
we got int’d?
discoinferno083 - November 21, 2010
There are a bazillion sites where you can track the game, play-by-play.
And yes, I’m angry.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
no worries
discoinferno083 - November 21, 2010
Dont think we could have clocked the ball even if Watson held on.
realmccoy - November 21, 2010
I’m gonna go cry.
jpmxch - November 21, 2010
I’m gonna go punch something.
North Coast Flea - November 21, 2010
This has to be the worst disciplined football I’ve seen since the Crennel era.
North Coast Flea - November 21, 2010
for one game; they said early in the game that we have the 7th fewest penalties in the league, though i’m sure this will hurt our ranking.
Dawg Nuts - November 21, 2010
I don’t get the play calling on that drive, what the fuck was MM doing sliding down to catch the ball and not getting out of bounds!
Cant_buy_a_run - November 21, 2010
Also, stuckey lost us about 25 seconds
sww2109 - November 21, 2010
God. This is just depressing.
This game should’ve been put away long ago, but Colt actually gave us a shot right there.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
What is this familiar feeling? It’s . . . it’s . . . despair!
portland, oregon - November 21, 2010
You know what’s awful? We would’ve had 30 more seconds had we just let them score.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
why?
Cant_buy_a_run - November 21, 2010
Again, anyone who blames Stuckey obviously didn’t look at the play closely. He caught it, raced to the sideline, and was tackled before he could get there. It’s more so McCoy’s fault for throwing it.
Chris Pokorny - November 21, 2010
Exactly.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
Yeah.
We should’ve just let Jacksonville score right then. Wasted time.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Yup. We weren’t going to stop them 1st and goal from inside the one. Just let them score and keep as much time as we can get.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
Right, which is what I said above when someone said he “danced”. That simply isn’t true.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
actually I blame MM for not getting out of bounds the play before.
Cant_buy_a_run - November 21, 2010
I blame him for catching the ball. It was a bad pass in that situation. He shouldn’t have went down after it.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
The ball was thrown low; he had to go down to catch it and couldn’t get back up to run out of bounds.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
I think its both their faults personally.
bross09 - November 21, 2010
This. he seems to have had a rookie game today.
Dawg Nuts - November 21, 2010
Yup. Except I, maybe foolishly, thought he was going throw a TD into the end zone.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Wow. Jets just won on a late TD. Again.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
ya i just saaaw that garbage
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
I hate thinking how we should be 5-5.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
I mean, there IS a reason we’re 3-7. Our inability to keep leads in the second half has absolutely destroyed us this year. What’s even more disheartening is how well the defense played and then they let up that huge play on the final drive.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
I know.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
We played like a 3-7 team today.
BuenosAires_Dawg - November 21, 2010
Yes. What I’m saying is we should have beat the Jets. We played well enough to beat them. Today, we forced 6 turnovers. There’s probably a 99.9999% chance you win a game like that. So, we should be 5-5 right now. It sucks. Missed opportunities.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
“you are what your record says you are”
Dawg Nuts - November 21, 2010
First you learn to compete….
rufio - November 21, 2010
Exactly right. Our lack of talent on offense means that we need to play almost perfectly to score points. It’s easy to say we’re “almost” 5-5 but so are many other teams with losing records. There is a reason we’re 3-7, and it’s because we can’t put games away in the second half.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
it also doesn’t help when we lose a weapon like Cribbs on offense and watson and McCoy are not at 100%.
bross09 - November 21, 2010
Yeah now we can worry about McCoy’s health.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Every team has injuries. The Jaguars were without their best WR today.
Buckeye Brad - November 21, 2010
no question.
I agreed with your basic point that we have to execute perfectly on Offense to win. I was just pointing out ways it may have been harder.
bross09 - November 21, 2010
atleast the bengals got stomped….i guess
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
i am tired of losing the game every week in the second half
Cant_buy_a_run - November 21, 2010
and finding new and interesting ways to do it
Cant_buy_a_run - November 21, 2010
maybe we should start tuning in during the last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
UUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH
rufio - November 21, 2010
Rec because this sums up everything perfectly.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
When’s the last time a team with 6 turnovers won? When? Ever?
emily522 - November 21, 2010
smear the queer
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
I read it was the fourth time since 2000. Looking for source.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
This game convinced me even more that we need to draft a WR or at least get some decent ones.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
the game convinced me that we need to upgrade our offensive line
bbstirrd - November 21, 2010
I’m seriously sick to my stomach right now. I can’t believe we lost this game.
Browns town - November 21, 2010
Its ok because going through this pain from our beloved Browns makes us stronger in our everday lives..
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
then I’m strong as an ox in my everyday life, and tired of it. i want some f@#%ing wins.
Dawg Nuts - November 21, 2010
Looking like the Browns Offense 2008-2009….
Red-Right-88 - November 21, 2010
Major step back for this team. Probably changes the outcome of the entire season and raises questions on Mangini and Daboll again (ugh). Hate that something like this would kill our momentum. I guess half a season of good football is too much to ask for.
BuenosAires_Dawg - November 21, 2010
Yeah, I think Mangini’s job security went down a bit.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
Why?
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
His job security depends on the team showing progress. We regressed back to the form we had on the opening two weeks. An inept team on offense that couldn’t get a drive going. I am not happy with what I saw today.
BuenosAires_Dawg - November 21, 2010
So we enter the game without our top playmaker (Cribbs), with a rookie third stringer (McCoy) at QB, A rookie guard (Lauvao) making his first start, and a BestBuy employee (Smith) returning kicks, and then our top receiver (Watson) gets banged up, and Mangini is on the hot seat again?
Our rookie DBs combined for 3 INTs, we forced 6 turnovers including the one Elam returned for a score, and lost by 4 to a team with a winning record who had already beaten the Colts and Texans. That’s still progress.
Our offense was outplayed by the Jags defense. It’s as simple as that. And get used to it. We’re going to be seeing this defense a lot in the coming weeks. McCoy has been exposed, and now it’s going to be on him (and the coaches) to make the proper adjustments.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
This made me laugh.
Again, we had 6 turnovers. 99% of the time you win the game when that happens. I’m not saying Mangini’s going to be fired, but his security from after the Pats win to now has definitely fallen.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
I think Daboll is done, even with what we showed the past five weeks offensively (minus today). Holmgren said he wasn’t pleased with the offense as a whole.
Browns town - November 21, 2010
I really would like to know what happened to the O-line, because that was more than just John St. Claire being in the game.
JustBob - November 21, 2010
Agreed
I hate to lay blame on anyone, but it seems to me if any blame is due, this loss lies squarely on the shoulders of the Browns offensive line. They simply did not show up for work today.
burntorangeandbrown - November 21, 2010
I’ve nearly convinced myself that Mack in particular, and the line in general struggles against the 4-3.
golanbatrac - November 21, 2010
Everything about the second half gameplan on offense was terrible. They should be ashamed. I hate the way adjustments are NEVER made by the staff
Cant_buy_a_run - November 21, 2010
To top it off, I’m getting killed in fantasy.
Time to go watch IND vs. NE. I need to get my mind off of this.
The Bengals blew a 21 point lead against Buffalo. Yow.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
I sat Steve Johnson, and forgot to take out Brandon Marshall and Ronnie Browns and STILL have almost 90 points already.
If I took out Marshall and put in Johnson, I would be even better. I got about 45 points just from Fred Jackson and Santonio
bross09 - November 21, 2010
I just hate how this loss overshadows a great defensive performance.
emily522 - November 21, 2010
There’s no use pointing fingers at this one, the Browns failed to convert when they had gift after gift given to them by the Jags. Five turn overs and you only muster 10 pts…not a good thing.
Give the Jags credit, they did their homework, stopped the Hillis Train, got Colt good, and beat us out where we were vulnerable. The defense was near flawless, but they were on the field too long due to the offense not getting it done so of course Drew Jones ran all over us.
Great game with ugly play (on both sides) with an ugly ending. We got walking wounded to tend to in the coming weeks. I can throw stuff and get upset, but at my age I need to hold on to it when it counts(the stuff I mean). We knew coming in this season this team and this season was a developing one and McCoy wasn’t suppose to be out in the field until year 2 or 3.
To see him give us a chance every time he touches the ball; to know he is still a rookie and will need to hone up on his mistakes; to see him gut it out even when he knows he’s hurt; to see him make play after play when it counts I can’t be angry at him at all. This game, despite the loss, will only solidify to everyone on this team he should be (and possibly is unofficially) the franchise face of the Cleveland Browns.
Thankfully we got Carolina next week (CAKE); Miami and Buffalo scares me as much as the Jags, but tip the hat to the Jags, they played hard and lucky. Move on to the next game. Go Browns!
Ed Hooper - November 21, 2010
Alright good luck getting thru the week fam. Ill need it after this. Happy Thanksgiving.
RAVAGE DAWG - November 21, 2010
To echo above, won’t be around for much of this week due to Thanksgiving in CT. Just wanted to say, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here. Remember to “stress eat” due to the Browns over Thanksgiving. Maybe thirds/fourths of turkey/stuffing will make up for this loss.
DisplacedBuckeye - November 21, 2010
so my question is, if when McCoy runs the no-huddle, they move the ball on the ground and air, why not try using a little more often, at least to keep the team off balance, and you can still run clock. What am I missing here?
Cant_buy_a_run - November 21, 2010
yes, but
The problem was less about the game plan and more with the fact that he was getting absolutely zero protection from his o-line for 90% of the game.
burntorangeandbrown - November 21, 2010
i completely agree with you, but with the no huddle, maybe the D-line tires quicker. There has to be some adjustment made in the second half of these games, because they are getting worked almost EVERY week in the second half of games.
Cant_buy_a_run - November 21, 2010
I just don’t understand what happened to the o-line today. They are usually stellar, but I guess the last five weeks of going to war with the Steelers, Saints, Patriots and Jets apparently took its toll.
burntorangeandbrown - November 21, 2010
agree once again. St. Clair played TERRIBLE today on the right side. I never thought I would miss Floyd Womack
Cant_buy_a_run - November 21, 2010
looks like he did last year when he started the first half of the season at right tackle!
findlaybrownslover - November 21, 2010
I just looked over at the OBR and man from “Dabaoll is the man” to “Dabaoll needs to be fired”. True in some cases, but folks if we loose to Carolina like this then you can throw the kitchen sink cause that game should be CAKE.
I knew coming in this game this team scared me quite a bit and with good reason. I think one site said it best that if Hillis was under 70+ yards and Drew Jones was over +70 the Jags would win it. Score one for the stat boys and girls.
Ed Hooper - November 21, 2010
