Although the Browns not having an interception for their past three games, they've forced fumbles against the Cincinnati Bengals and the Atlanta Falcons thanks to the play of Scott Fujita. While it's tough to give a game ball after a loss, there's no shame in what the defense did overall against Atlanta in giving up just 13 points.

Fujita gets the game ball for what should have been a game-seizing play to start off the second half. Cleveland had a 7-6 lead at halftime, and on 3rd-and-2, Fujita was able to strip Matt Ryan of the football, allowing defensive lineman Kenyon Coleman to scoop up the football.
That gave Cleveland great starting field position at the 24 yard line. It was the ideal situation for a new quarterback to enter the game with: Jake Delhomme had a short field to work with, and no matter what, the Browns were in a situation to come away with guaranteed points thanks to Fujita's sack+fumble.
Fujita finished the game with 4 tackles, 1 sack, and the forced fumble. Hopefully he can bring that same type of key pressure when the Browns face Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers this week. Given the way Delhomme played against Atlanta, Cleveland is going to need all the help they can get defensively.

Rob Ryan and the LBs have really been the bright spot of the season. Giving the offense a chance to win week after week. All with safeties and CBs that can“t cover.

I’d say the coach is getting better-than-expected results from the defense. This is unusual for us to see over achievement on the Browns. I like it.

You are being way too harsh on the secondary.

They HAVE to be a bright spot, we kept like 20 of them on our roster…

Fujita is the man along with T.J Ward they are the big hitters and I hope they welcome Rapesberger with much love!

can we go ahead and nip “rapesberger” and all derivations thereof in the bud right here and now? it’s stupid, uncreative and classless. we can find plenty of other nicknames and insults, i’m sure.
