The Cleveland Browns have battled the Atlanta Falcons close, but the running game hasn't gotten going. Can the defense continue to hold Matt Ryan to a low completion percentage? The Browns lead 7-6 at halftime.

SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010

LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
nice
Villeslgr - October 10, 2010
Right ankle injury.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
he’s not on the sideline. it looks like delhomme will be playing the 2nd half
davus - October 10, 2010
Have we only got the 3 RBs active?
Hilis/Harrison/Vickers?
I cannot help but think that was a mistake, with your main man being dinged.
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
Great coverage
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Boss
Les Fleurs Du Mal - October 10, 2010
Ugh, right ankle, not cramps :(
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
And questionable for the rest of the game
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Sounds like Delhomme is in for good.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Wright was held on that.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010

findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
I can’t believe that wasn’t called. These refs are atrocious.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
ah crap!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Wallace is on the sidelines.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
They just said it’s his right ankle and he’ll be out.
North Coast Flea - October 10, 2010

JustBob - October 10, 2010
WOO! kenyon coleman: fumble recovery master
davus - October 10, 2010
Fujita punched that out with his ring.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Fujita has stepped it up
Roger Dorn - October 10, 2010
Anyhone know how Brodney Pool is doing? He went to the Eagles didn’t he?
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
Jets
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Jets, I think.
pdxtribefan - October 10, 2010
Jets. Playing fairly well
Roger Dorn - October 10, 2010
That could have been one we could have done with.
Not a biggie but Elam seems to be on the way out.
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
no, to the jets. iunno how he’s doing. no concussions so far
davus - October 10, 2010
here we go!!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010

DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010

findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010

SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Wow I loved that play.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
THAT is the wildcat I wanted to see.
JustBob - October 10, 2010
UM WATCH IT DELHOMME.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Kenyon Colman = Mr. RightPlaceRightTime
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
doh!!!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Wow Delhomme
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Jesus Jake.
Les Fleurs Du Mal - October 10, 2010
Jake. Bad. Bad.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Phew.
That was bad.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Was there not a man wide open in the end zone?
JustBob - October 10, 2010
go baby go!!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Guess what. Give it to Hillis again.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Hillis just killed another man right there on the field.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
POUND IT INTO THE END ZONE.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
“FUCK YOU, I’M HILLIS.”
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Run it twice
Roger Dorn - October 10, 2010
Oh, Delhomme…
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
WTF!
JustBob - October 10, 2010
fuck no dehlomme!!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
What the hell was that?
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
Jake not possessing the snap leading to a bad transition to Hillis.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
We needed 6 there. I blame Delhomme for not getting it. Tough position for him though to have to come in before he was probably ready.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Hillis probably would’ve pounded it in.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
I have no doubt in my mind.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Have we gotten a TD off of a turnover this year? Or just FGs?
emily522 - October 10, 2010
just FGs as far as I can recall.
JustBob - October 10, 2010
Hillis is seriously not happy.
I would not want to be on that sideline.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Good. WTF was that Delhomme?
kingcrimson2 - October 10, 2010
thats better than nothing! hillis wanted that touchdown!!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Why FG???? Bang It In.
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
Take the points there every time.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
so, if we dont make it they start at there 2 yard ine! i agree!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Nah. Take the points and play good D.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
This. It’s tempting to go for it, though.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Dunno, in the circumstances, I’d have gone inside Hillis x2. I wouldn’t have even coded the signal.
Strating them on the 6" line is bad either from a D perspective.
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
With how the D is responding in the red zone I’ll take the 4 point lead right now. Need another TD soon, though.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Yikes, no wonder we didn’t start Delhomme this week — he hasn’t shaken off the rust. Thankfully Hillis found the football.
Chris Pokorny - October 10, 2010
At least Phil inches up in the record books.
JustBob - October 10, 2010
Well there goes my 21-9 prediction. haha
North Coast Flea - October 10, 2010
Alright, D. Keep putting pressure.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Seneca meet needle, needle Seneca.
realmccoy - October 10, 2010
That pass that Delhomme threw was scary . . . and stupid. Derek Andersen-esque
portland, oregon - October 10, 2010
This is what we need to cut down on.
So many self inflicted mistakes.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
yep! this.
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Hillis to Delhomme.
“You owe me one.”
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Hahahaha. Hillis. Love this guy.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
We haven’t allowed a rushing TD? Wow.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Peyton Hillis was on the sidelines on the bike and yelled to Jake and said, “You owe me one,” with a smile. He’ll get his eventually.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Ha!
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Excellent!
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
Fuck. Sheldon. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Sheldon just died.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Brown took himself out.
JustBob - October 10, 2010
Launching yourself at a WR: Good.
Launching yourself at Tony Gonzalez: Not so good.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
R.I.P.
davus - October 10, 2010
I thought we got rid of Pool?
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
watch out for hillis on the next possesion, i think hes gonna kill someone!!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
The Browns have held Ryan to 1 Fantasy point in 2-1/2 quarters. Thank Hillis I started Mercedes Lewis this week, or I’d be in serious trouble.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
Thank Hillis, indeed.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
My team is bad, still trying to find a mix.
Roger Dorn - October 10, 2010
I started Ryan, and couldn’t be happier with his results so far.
dgcambridge - October 10, 2010
I just knew that I shouldn’t have posted this.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
Really blew it for us there.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Clausen update:
4-8. 30 yards. 3.3. Y/A.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Make it 4-9. And a 13.4 QB rating.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
go clausen go!! lol
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Clausen is showing spurts of “Brady Quinn Syndrome”.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Does he have BQ poster in his room?
JustBob - October 10, 2010
No, BQ has a Clausen poster
Bumblyjack - October 10, 2010
i see that “pro style” offense is paying off.
davus - October 10, 2010
Panthers have to be the worst team in football by a decent margin.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
The guy I’m playing started Arian Foster, Mark Clayton, and Greg Olsen. They all have 0 points. Plenty of time, though. Mark Clayton’s hurt though.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
SHIT.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
damnit brown!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Blergh.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
And this is why we needed a TD and not a FG. Sigh.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
tru dat!!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Saw it coming before the ball even dropped out of the arch.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Who was in coverage
Roger Dorn - October 10, 2010
Sheldon
emily522 - October 10, 2010
sheldon brown
davus - October 10, 2010
Brown.
JustBob - October 10, 2010
Brown
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Brown. Had just come back in.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Safety help?
Roger Dorn - October 10, 2010
TJ Ward was coming across. Late, obviously.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
With ward & Elam there…. yer on yer own.
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
Great point.
realmccoy - October 10, 2010
None. Inexplicable.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
Roddy White should be doubled the whole game.
Roger Dorn - October 10, 2010
where was wards help??
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
I wonder if Wallace will come back in?
Chris Pokorny - October 10, 2010
I think Hillis just needs to run over everyone now.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
probably, they dont want hillis to kill dehlomme!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
run it back cribbs!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Whoa. What is going on?
emily522 - October 10, 2010
What dope wears a Tim Couch jersey to a Browns game?!?! That guy does not deserve front row end zone seats!
Spidey - October 10, 2010 via mobile
I’ve worn my Ouch jersey to games before.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Meh. It’s 2010. Time to retire it…
Spidey - October 10, 2010 via mobile
Very true. I’ve been rocking my Cribbs jersey for 3 or so years now.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
I still rock my couch, and my Spielman.
North Coast Flea - October 10, 2010
yeah do it!! punch him!!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
ahhh kick it to cribbs you pansies.
davus - October 10, 2010
If Cribbs can’t give us any points or better than average field position, why did we pay him? Getting frustrated with his lack of production on ST.
kingcrimson2 - October 10, 2010
When the other team refuses to kick the ball to him, it’s tough for him to do his job, no?
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Yea, we shouldn’t pay him because every NFL team is scared of him.
StuckInPa - October 10, 2010
When you take half the field away from them you should have a plan to make them pay though…. and Harrison doesn’t look like it.
In fact, this year, Harrison doesn’t loook like much at all… where’d his mojo go?
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
he gained some weight over the offseason cus people didn’t think he could carry the load. i think it made him lose a step
davus - October 10, 2010
He’s had some attempts, and if no one else can capitalize on kicks away from him, he is effectively neutralized, no?
kingcrimson2 - October 10, 2010
you gotta remember that he is also doing a lot of good as a wildcat QB and a WR
davus - October 10, 2010
Looks a little better as a WR this year, but is hardly setting the NFL on fire. I like the guy, don’t get me wrong but would like to see more production.
kingcrimson2 - October 10, 2010
We need to grind it out here. Shorten the game and get at least 3.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
Are the Browns gonna play angry now, or frustrated?
JustBob - October 10, 2010
mamby pamby land is cool!!!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
ahhhh, it was elams fault for no coverage!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
who is he who shall not be named?
Les Fleurs Du Mal - October 10, 2010
LeBron, I’m guessing.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
These announcers are douchebags.
StuckInPa - October 10, 2010
This.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
WAtson’s been quiet?
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
Too quiet.
JustBob - October 10, 2010
Royal is outrecieving him.
Atl shouldn’t be shutting down a TE.
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
Nice.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Funny how I said the same thing about Ward, and then they both made plays.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Say something about Roth now
dgcambridge - October 10, 2010
we should just name everyone then haha
the_fox_and_the_browns - October 10, 2010
He had the drive killing false start.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
Good Call.
realmccoy - October 10, 2010
Ask and ye shall receive.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Ask and yea shall receive.
JustBob - October 10, 2010
Jynx
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
theres watson!!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
GO BEN!
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
What is going on with Joe Thomas?
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Ah. You don’t get those details on the text feed.
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
So now I’m swearing off Miller Lite. Corona wa the first I swore off due to obnoxious commercials where the woman treats the guy like trash (I would have dropped her before the second commecial ended). Now those Lite bartenders are just plain b@){€hes. But maybe I’m just old school.
Spidey - October 10, 2010 via mobile
I’d never comment on a mans beer taste.
But do you have the Red Stripe ads down there that say “lime free since 1865”?
I’m thinking that cos tonights beer is not good and I’m gald I’ve got some lime to put in it.
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
Haven’t seen it, but I’m not a fan of the RS ads. Colbert uses BL Lime as a prop to connote less than manly attitude. Pretty funny.
Spidey - October 10, 2010 via mobile
Oh my gosh. SO CLOSE.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
must be hungover, he cant move to quickly cause hes got the scoots!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
WIDE OPEN…..
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
What the hell, Jake
ahowie - October 10, 2010
That was on Cribbs. Hit him in the hands.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
lol
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Flag!
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
That’s PI all the way.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Well that’s PI
ahowie - October 10, 2010
damn right thats a flag!! bout time!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Good they got it right.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
I’m actually shocked that the refs didn’t just ignore that one too.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
That was a Wallace throw
Villeslgr - October 10, 2010
C’mon Jake!!!
Spidey - October 10, 2010 via mobile
Crap Hillis.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
uh oh, hillis!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Jesus. Could a few more people get hurt?
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
meh. Obviously hindsight is 20/20 but I think you gotta go for that TD. even if you dont get it you’re playing pretty decent D and you got them backed up on the goal line.
johnnyphoenix - October 10, 2010
everytime for me.
Unless you don’t have an OL/ power running game or big play D.
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
is it just me or does dehlomme like to throw into double coverage all the time?
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
There was coverage there, but still catchable.
dgcambridge - October 10, 2010
Harrison is ineffective.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
time to put in davis!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
He ain’t there.
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
i miss Seneca
Les Fleurs Du Mal - October 10, 2010
jerome harrison might be the worst running back in the league.
VABrownsFan - October 10, 2010
It’s inexcusable that James Davis is either not getting any touches or is inactive.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
This.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Why?
Roger Dorn - October 10, 2010
Your top back is nursing and injury and Harrison has been wildly ineffective with the little playing time he has gotten. James Davis represents a spark that this offense desperately needs, especially in the second half.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
I guess I am just wondering how you know Davis is a spark. He hasn’t done anything in a real game yet
Roger Dorn - October 10, 2010
Nothing.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
Why not try him though? Harrison hasn’t done anything to show that Davis doesn’t deserve a chance to try to overtake his spot on the depth chart.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
You’re right, he hasn’t shown anything (or been given the chance to) in a game that counts but he runs hard and fast and can get to the edge. Plus, he can catch it.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Harrison tripped by Steinbach
JustBob - October 10, 2010
This is where the game starts to slip away.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
This offense is inexcusably bad in the second half.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Pretty telling how this game has been going with how much ‘inexcusable’ has been thrown around in this game thread.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Haden!
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Nice punt! Haden!
emily522 - October 10, 2010
This is starting to feel like the TB game with the playcalling. Although it is obvious Hillis is hurting and Harrison has been ineffective. Need to see some Wildcat or some screens or something. We are way off throwing downfield.
Villeslgr - October 10, 2010
nice job haden!!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
How’s that for a punt?
You think Zastudil’s agent will be aclling round the teams?
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
calling
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
At least we’ll always have ST.
JustBob - October 10, 2010
Safety… let’s get it
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Was that Earl Thomas?
Villeslgr - October 10, 2010
Stop them on third down here. Make them punt out of the end zone and give us a short field.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
COME ON D.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
PUNT IT!
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Short! Way to go D!
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
That was a facemask on their lineman.
Villeslgr - October 10, 2010
A+ tackle by Eric Wright.
Chris Pokorny - October 10, 2010
Eric Wright looks very good so far this game.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
go cribbs!!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Hairy Douglas Denied!
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
Great field position.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
And now not so great. Ugh.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Good field position. LET’S GET A TD!
emily522 - October 10, 2010
stupid penalties!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Yep… lets make it happen Jake
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
go jake!
davus - October 10, 2010
HILLIS!
Dabboll: “Oh, maybe we should run it!”
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Just manage the game Jake.
TheDriveStillHurts - October 10, 2010
breast cancer sucks!! save the tata’s!!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Grow up.
TheDriveStillHurts - October 10, 2010
This.
My mom had breast cancer. It’s not funny. There’s nothing about it that’s a joke.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
I don’t think that was a joke. They have t shirts that say that. It might actually be on the Komen website.
Villeslgr - October 10, 2010
I didn’t take it as joke either
dgcambridge - October 10, 2010
I read it in a different tone.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
i apologize for not setting tone for that comment
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
thank you, i didnt mean it as a joke!! ive had a couple family members who have had it. sorry if it was taken the wrong way
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Nevermind not on Komen it’s a separate non-profit.
Villeslgr - October 10, 2010
Boo.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
Nice Jake. God.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Delhomme is abysmal. Why are we passing at all?
ahowie - October 10, 2010
nice save pashos
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Hillis. Beast.
portland, oregon - October 10, 2010
Implosion?
JustBob - October 10, 2010
Jeez, Hillis keeps limping off then coming back for 10 yard runs.
StuckInPa - October 10, 2010
OH MY GOD JAKE.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
I am officially in Seneca’s camp now.
TheDriveStillHurts - October 10, 2010
It’s stunning that we received a punt at the 50 yard line, even got a first down and are about to stall the drive well into our own territory. Embarrassing.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Jake should obviously shouldn’t be in. Fucking injuries.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Sentence structure fail.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
This.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
so yeah about those disciplined and smart players we have?
VABrownsFan - October 10, 2010
jake’s leg is clearly bothering him. anyone think we’ll see colt?
davus - October 10, 2010
Why not.
kingcrimson2 - October 10, 2010
I doubt it. Delhomme’s kind of killing us now, though.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
How many plays does Cribbs know as QB?
kingcrimson2 - October 10, 2010
I was hoping that would be the case after we out up a 30+ point lead.
JustBob - October 10, 2010
Jake throws to Watson … Because he can?
JustBob - October 10, 2010
Serious question, is Robiskie playing?
dgcambridge - October 10, 2010
Jake is good at running out the clock at the end of the quarter. You have to give him that.
realmccoy - October 10, 2010
What’s the word on Seneca? Colt going to be our back up next game?
Villeslgr - October 10, 2010
Don’t you mean starter?
StuckInPa - October 10, 2010
I was holding out hope Delhomme could get healthy by then.
Villeslgr - October 10, 2010
Way too early to speculate.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
I just meant has anyone heard any info on his injury.
Villeslgr - October 10, 2010
Ankle injury
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Thanks. We have some delicate ankles on this team.
Villeslgr - October 10, 2010
How bad can McCoy be?
Can Cribbes play QB?
Can Wallace play on one leg?
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
It’s official: we have a quarterback controversy.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
Yup.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
It was just a matter of time.
kingcrimson2 - October 10, 2010
That took long. We could always be Philly.
StuckInPa - October 10, 2010
We have injuries. I don’t see the controversy.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Wallace or Delhomme
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Whichever one is healthy.
pdxtribefan - October 10, 2010
Delhomme when he’s healthy. Obviously, he’s not healthy, which is why Seneca started. Now they’re both hurt.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Delhomme looks bad, Wallace, the backup, looks good. Controversy.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
He’s hurt. He’s obviously hurt. And he shouldn’t be playing and wouldn’t be if Wallace didn’t himself get hurt.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
I feel like Colt should be in then. Not ideal, but why risk making his injury worse?
emily522 - October 10, 2010
We can’t just sub Colt in, he is the 3rd QB.
Roger Dorn - October 10, 2010
Delhomme is rusty and still injured, so I’m not sure how much blame he deserves.
Buckeye Brad - October 10, 2010
He’s having serious trouble moving.
JustBob - October 10, 2010
Delhomme looks hurt. Not that he’s great when he’s healthy, so your point is somewhat valid, but you have to acknowledge that Delhomme is hurt.
pdxtribefan - October 10, 2010
Shouldn’t be a controversy. Offense was humming under Wallace.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
Is Colt warming up?
emily522 - October 10, 2010
I hope so.
kingcrimson2 - October 10, 2010
Let’s pin them again and start over.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
touchback.
Tch.
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
jake shouldn’t be playing, methinks. i wouldn’t be surprised it we saw colt at some point
davus - October 10, 2010
I would hate to throw him into the fire like that.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
We’re only down by 3.
I say we run the ball and go cyclone most of the 4th and mix in exactly 2 passes by Jd. Heck one big run changes the game.
Villeslgr - October 10, 2010
Daboll would cringe if he heard this.
StuckInPa - October 10, 2010
??
Can’t run the cyclone without Seneca.
TheDriveStillHurts - October 10, 2010
True. Then go with the Wildcat.
Villeslgr - October 10, 2010
We can’t play Colt unless both Delhomme and Wallace cannot return to the game becaues of injury.
Roger Dorn - October 10, 2010
Oh yeah.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
I thought we could play him in the 4th and still bring one of Delhomme/ Wallace back if needed?
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
Yes.
Buckeye Brad - October 10, 2010
yep.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
Cheers both.
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
Precisely. We’re at the mercy of their injuries, and if they think Seneca is too hurt to return, then we’re stuck with Jake.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Or it’s the 4th…
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Really? Sorry, I don’t know my rules.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
No, Colt can come in just fine in the 4th.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Actually, it’s the 4th quarter now so he can play now and the other QB’s can still come in.
Buckeye Brad - October 10, 2010
These announcers do know their Browns history. I’m impressed.
Buckeye Brad - October 10, 2010
We need this stop.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Alright D, come on.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Eric Wright going for Tony’s knees.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
lets go roth!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Why the hell is White so wide open?
emily522 - October 10, 2010
What the fuck is going on. Why the fuck isn’t Roddy White doubled every damn play.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Good question from Chris Myers: How did he get so wide open.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
So, is our game plan to let every big name WR to go open all game?
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Ugh, if only Haden had made that sack.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
jeez, we had him!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
How is White so wide open all the time?
Buckeye Brad - October 10, 2010
Haden was not fooled.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Where is Roth??
dgcambridge - October 10, 2010
BARTON ISLAND!
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Fox in Columbus must be delayed by a second or two. That’s the third time you’ve reacted to a play as it was happening on my tv.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
This just in: Cheifs Defense is for real.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
Absolutely. They had some pieces in place last year and they drafted out of their minds. We’re pretty similar programs really.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
Another knock on Savage. He had four years and couldn’t put together a decent defense. Pioli and Heckert/Mangini have both done it in two.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
I started them today.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
I sat them and started the Brownies’ D.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
From watching the pregame shows, national media needs to adjust their understanding of Chiefs, Browns, and Texans.
dgcambridge - October 10, 2010
Great stop!
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
yes!! barton
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Got him.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Nice stop Barton!!
Buckeye Brad - October 10, 2010
nice stop!
davus - October 10, 2010
That’s an interesting spot.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
wow, thats close?!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
sarcasim
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
don’t be stubborn, atlanta. punt!!
davus - October 10, 2010
Going for it is the smart play.
TheDriveStillHurts - October 10, 2010
DEFENSE
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Oh my gosh…
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Get up for this D
ahowie - October 10, 2010
That’s a loooooong yard.
Buckeye Brad - October 10, 2010
The longest?
JustBob - October 10, 2010
stop em!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
YEAH!
emily522 - October 10, 2010
nice!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Nice work, Brownies. Roby Ryan had ’em ready.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Discipline. I has it.
Les Fleurs Du Mal - October 10, 2010
I love how Ward was getting the crowd into it.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Yes!
kingcrimson2 - October 10, 2010
they were waiting for the browns to jump offsides
davus - October 10, 2010
probably not a bad gamble
dgcambridge - October 10, 2010
run it back cribbs
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Well, we need the offense here.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
damn!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
80 yards, boys
ahowie - October 10, 2010
i´ll take50
realmccoy - October 10, 2010
touchback… alright. it’s a start. let’s see which QB comes out
davus - October 10, 2010
Delhomme
emily522 - October 10, 2010
How about Wildcat, for the whole drive.
dgcambridge - October 10, 2010
Where do we rank as a team in return yards?
kingcrimson2 - October 10, 2010
Starting field position would be a better measure.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
Please please please don’t eff this up.
StuckInPa - October 10, 2010
we can only hope not!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Not a good time to run out of running backs.
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
And quarterbacks.
TheDriveStillHurts - October 10, 2010
Yeah, and QBs.
Can Haden play QB?
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
Ha! Morgan Freeman had an affair with his cousin.
kingcrimson2 - October 10, 2010
They’re going to bring the house on Delhomme.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
I feel like this isn’t going to work.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Worked.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
C’mon Browns.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Thank God.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
“Looks like he got it”
Um. Duh.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
I’d rather he would have stayed in bounds.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
there we go!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
It worked, but I didn’t like that play call.
TheDriveStillHurts - October 10, 2010
Love the wildcat. LOVE IT
dgcambridge - October 10, 2010
I hate to say it, but McCoy must be as bad as I feared.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
No way, not based on today
Roger Dorn - October 10, 2010
Dude, no.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
He might take inexperienced to a new level, but bad is harsh.
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
He’s a rookie. Relax.
Buckeye Brad - October 10, 2010
jake really shouldn’t be in, but they don’t have much of a choice it seems.
davus - October 10, 2010
Hillis has to hit the hole harder than that.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
He’s hurt, be glad we’re getting what we’re seeing now.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Must-convert situation.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
Pass complete to Mister Third-Down
troy145 - October 10, 2010
go stuckey!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Stuckey doing everything we need from him.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
First down!
Let’s go Browns!
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Stuckey again with a 3rd down conversion!
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Bernie’s going to lose a bet early this year.
TheDriveStillHurts - October 10, 2010
Stuckey again!
North Coast Flea - October 10, 2010
josh is slow getting up….. jeeez!
davus - October 10, 2010
I like getting Cribbs involved with our Qb’s hurt.
Buckeye Brad - October 10, 2010
Stuckey 5 catches. Watson up to 4.
Where’s Robiskie?
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
Pretty sure he’s inactive with an injury.
Buckeye Brad - October 10, 2010
I see 80 a lot.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Totally fooled the D on that one.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Here we go. 3rd and long.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Who was it that started the jersey problem thread? Is it too late to throw Stuckey’s name in the mix?
troy145 - October 10, 2010
Wow, way to ruin a good looking toss O – line.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Steinbach got pushed into the backfield there, Hillis had zero room.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Game. Over.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Hillis can’t be right.
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
jesus!!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
IT HIT THE GROUND!
North Coast Flea - October 10, 2010
Nope.
TheDriveStillHurts - October 10, 2010
ok I was wrong.
North Coast Flea - October 10, 2010
Game’s over on one of the most embarrasing plays this season.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
…That’s just a great play. I don’t know how that’s embarassing.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Exactly.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
He was the only one even trying
dgcambridge - October 10, 2010
Except for the lack of a tackle at the end.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Huh?
Buckeye Brad - October 10, 2010
These 3rd downs are killing me
Spidey - October 10, 2010 via mobile
Wallace needs to start from now on.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
What the fuck was that, Stuckey? Bring him down and give the D a chance to hold them to three. That was idiotic.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
I doubt a third down WR can ever take a DE down.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
There’s a reason he plays WR.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
What?!
JustBob - October 10, 2010
To me it looked like he just ran with him to try and find an angle to strip the ball away. Didn’t look like he gave much of an effort to actually bring him down.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
He probably knew that he had no chance of bringing him down at his size.
Buckeye Brad - October 10, 2010
Really? No challenge?
ahowie - October 10, 2010
You have GOT to be kidding me.
Buckeye Brad - October 10, 2010
Worst play of the year? Methinks yes. Jake Delhomme is the worst quarterback I have ever seen.
VABrownsFan - October 10, 2010
This is a complete exaggeration and you know it.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
This.
North Coast Flea - October 10, 2010
It was a great play, but Delhomme does suck. Can’t believe most people wanted him to start.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
I want him to start when he’s healthy.
He’s not healthy.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
He was healthy for most of game 1 and didn’t get the kind of production we’re getting out of Wallace.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
He was healthy for one half and he played very well for that half except for the one terrible pick-six throw.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Everyone’s great on the plays that they don’t throw the game away on.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
Because it’s not like Seneca threw a game-losing pick six the week after or anything.
Adrock2099 - October 10, 2010
I’ll take the guy with 7 picks to his last 18 TDs over the guy who has 22 INTS to his last 9 TDs.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
That was not his fault. Just a great play by the defender.
Buckeye Brad - October 10, 2010
Ok – pass the pipe.
realmccoy - October 10, 2010
Ryan Leaf, every heard of him?
North Coast Flea - October 10, 2010
Here’s a hyperbole star!
pdxtribefan - October 10, 2010
Frustration. I has it.
VABrownsFan - October 10, 2010
I hate myself for starting the Falcon’s D.
StuckInPa - October 10, 2010
Figures the first time JT has a 2 sack game it would cost us the QB and the game.
realmccoy - October 10, 2010
Ugh, my heart is killing. Both figuratively and probably physically.
Being a Browns fan will lead me to a heart attack one day.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
The only reason to watch now is to count the injuries.
JustBob - October 10, 2010
Hillis – that guy plays with heart.
realmccoy - October 10, 2010
Lets get a good return.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
At least we’re saving our challenge.
dgcambridge - October 10, 2010
You really think it was stupid to not challenge that? Obvious int
realmccoy - October 10, 2010
It’s not over yet kids.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
I’m putting this in a game thread so I don’t have to warn myself.
Jake Delhomme is fucking garbage. I don’t understand why this front office/coaching staff thinks that he possesses the ability to be even mediocre at throwing the ball.
It was a shitty signing the day we made it and he hasn’t done shit since to make me change my mind.
You know how we laugh at the Cardinals for signing Derek Anderson? Panthers fans are doing the same damn thing at us for signing Delhomme.
Bernie19Kosar - October 10, 2010
You’re 100% correct.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
He’s make some nice throws now, though.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
this!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Yup. The DA comparison might be a little exagerated.
TheDriveStillHurts - October 10, 2010
In what way? AZ was smart enough to bench DA?
troy145 - October 10, 2010
but no, B19K! He’s injured! Remember how good he was when he was healthy?!?! And Seneca Wallace hasn’t kept us in any games.!!!
/sarcasm
troy145 - October 10, 2010
The bottom line
2 games played, 2 game ending INTs.
kingcrimson2 - October 10, 2010
The Panthers are laughing all the way to a 0-4 record?
Really?
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
This is what I was thinking.
They have no room to laugh with Moore and Clausen.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
We’re laughing all the way to 1-4. And yes, I’m still laughing at DA.
Stupid is stupid.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
Who exactly is laughing?
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Him, apparently.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
If you watch DA play in Arizona and you DONT find it amusing, youre off your rocker.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
I was referring to the first part, about how “we’re laughing all the way to 1-4.”
I don’t see anyone laughing.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Did you even read the original post?
troy145 - October 10, 2010
I did. Just trying to decipher what it is you’re trying to say.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
I can’t hold your hand through a follow-along conversation in the English language. Sorry.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
While your sarcasm is entertaining, I’m not exactly sure you know what you’re talking about. But good try chap.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Ok buddy. You win the internet. Congrats, chap.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
Panthers are better off because they don’t have to waste playing time on Jake Delhomme.
If Jimmy Clausen does suck, and early indications show that’s possible, then they will have figured that out ASAP.
We gain nothing with Delhomme.
Bernie19Kosar - October 10, 2010
Exactly.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
You can’t blame an athletic play by a DE on Delhomme.
North Coast Flea - October 10, 2010
This.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
Also, who the hell else was out there. No one.
North Coast Flea - October 10, 2010
If you’re talking about the INT today, there was a running back wide open in the flat. Ten easy yards if the pass isn’t blocked.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
I was talking about the Delhomme signing.
North Coast Flea - October 10, 2010
How about the guy who has outplayed him for 5 weeks? Already on the roster.
Bernie19Kosar - October 10, 2010
I told you Delhomme SUCKED
I told you all and I heard crap about how I was wrong, HE BLOWS, CUT CUT CUT
champion64 - October 10, 2010
We probably didn’t listen to you because you type like a Troll.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Ok you are right my tyoing sucks, I hate Delhomme. I think with Wallace we had a shot today
champion64 - October 10, 2010
This would be a great time for MoMass to reinsert himself in our consciousnesses.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Robo sighting.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
ROBO SIGHTING. And he makes a very good catch.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
hey robiskie!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Robo sighting.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Why is there no sense of urgency?
emily522 - October 10, 2010
You mean like moving the ball one pass after another?
JustBob - October 10, 2010
Moore sighting.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Seriously, get Hillis and Delhomme out of the game. Last thing we need is to not have them for Pittsburgh. Hillis, anyways.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
Well, Delhomme’s currently trying to get us back into this game. I’d leave him in.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
And there’s Evan Moore! Jake is spreading it around. Where the hell was this earlier? Did his ankle finally loosen up. (and of course he misses a wide open receiver on that throw)
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Prevent defense my friend.
realmccoy - October 10, 2010
True.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
damn dehlomme!
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Damn, Delhomme is sucking us all the way to the goal line.
You suck at spreading the ball Delhomme!
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Gotta do it when they arent giving you the underneath stuff.
realmccoy - October 10, 2010
The prevent by Atl could just keep us in this one.
realmccoy - October 10, 2010
I’ve never heard so many screw ups from an announcer as I have today.
North Coast Flea - October 10, 2010
The dude is a NASCAR announcer, no clue what he’s doing in football.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
It’s both of them.
North Coast Flea - October 10, 2010
I have no idea why you keep calling him a Nascar announcer. Chris Myers has been with Fox for many years and announced many different sports. He’s not a Nascar announcer.
Buckeye Brad - October 10, 2010
He’s mainly in NASACAR. I watch it, it’s the only sport he doesn’t sound bad in.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
He’s done many, many different sports besides Nascar, and done it for a long time.
Buckeye Brad - October 10, 2010
What the hell?
emily522 - October 10, 2010
nevermind
findlaybrownslover - October 10, 2010
Joe Thomas beat again.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Wallace needs to be the starter from here on out.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Yep
RudeMood19 - October 10, 2010
It’s hard to be effective when your best OL is either giving up sacks or contributing to a quickly collapsing pocket. It’s hard to say this and not be confused and extremely frustrated but Joe Thomas shoulders a decent portion of this loss.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
I agree with out OL performance today. But if you compare the two today, Wallace was much better.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Wallace wasn’t thrown into a corner like Delhomme was.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
What corner?
Browns lead at halftime when Delhomme was inserted.
No excuse.
Bernie19Kosar - October 10, 2010
Until Joe Thomas got beat by Abraham who hurt Wallace’s ankle…
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Wasn’t aware of that
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Yeah, Joe Thomas has been made to look like a fool today.
North Coast Flea - October 10, 2010
He’s a mobile Qb though, not an injured pocket passer. A collapsing line hurts one more than the other.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
Good point. But I still think Wallace needs to start instead of Delhomme.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Right. The comparison between a healthy Seneca Wallace and an injured Jake Delhomme by some people is just laughable.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
Well now it’s an injured Seneca vs. an injured Jake.
North Coast Flea - October 10, 2010
Or a healthy Colt.
Yikes.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Ratty’s available.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
Yikes is right. Looks like when healthy Wallace and Delhomme both bring some tangibles to the table. Weaknesses too, but both are better than last 2 years. McCoy might get a chance, though, if those guys can’t get healthy. Wallace must be really hurt to be worse option than Delhomme there at the end.
pdxtribefan - October 10, 2010
Can’t be any worse than Scapegoat, I mean Delhomme. He may be garbage but people are blaming crap on him that isn’t his fault.
North Coast Flea - October 10, 2010
Unbelievable. What the hell is wrong with Joe Thomas?
ahowie - October 10, 2010
is he hurt too?
kingcrimson2 - October 10, 2010
.
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
The worst...always happens
dammit
RudeMood19 - October 10, 2010
Dont see that often – threw it off the OL helmet. Nice.
realmccoy - October 10, 2010
Where the he’ll was the protection? Our entire line got pushed back into Jake.
JustBob - October 10, 2010
That ball went off Mack’s helmet.
Buckeye Brad - October 10, 2010
Our great dominating OL???
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
This game started well then just got worse and worse. Top of the rollercoaster.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
whta the fuck happened there????
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
Our offensive line has been awful today. This loss is on them.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
Yep
Spidey - October 10, 2010 via mobile
Wow. Just wow Jake…Wow.
VABrownsFan - October 10, 2010
Not Jake, our line.
JustBob - October 10, 2010
Delhomme needs to go
Another interception, Just great. HE IS A RETARD
champion64 - October 10, 2010
That wasn’t even his fault. And I think he’s garbage. hard for ANYONE to do anything when your line is in your lap.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
And it’s been in his lap all day.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
Wallace somehow got by.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
WHEN HIS ANKLE WAS HEALTHY!
JustBob - October 10, 2010
Because when he’s healthy he can move.
pdxtribefan - October 10, 2010
So was it the line’s fault or was it his ankles? If its his ankle’s fault then why blame the line? Pick an excuse. Theyre getting old either way, but stick to one.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
Dude, Wallace could get away from pressure (line’s fault) most of the time. Delhomme can’t get away from pressure even when he’s healthy, but right now he’s basically immobile. It’s both, not either or.
pdxtribefan - October 10, 2010
Troy knows this. He’s just being a dick.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
Its frustrating when you have a guy whose a winner and people insist on giving the nod to a loser. Thats what we have with Wallace and Delhomme.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
Wallace has never won crap compared to Delhomme, though. Delhomme may be, and likely is, past his prime (maybe even past his mediocre), but Wallace has never done anything to be called a winner.
pdxtribefan - October 10, 2010
Wait a minute . . . which of those two is the “winner” and which the “loser” because I’m not really sure.
Buckeye Brad - October 10, 2010
Wallace is 6-12 as a starter. He’s a winner?
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
Sounds like all the more reason to start Wallace to me.
Idk what you guys have seen in Delhomme that you haven’t seen in Wallace that makes anyone think Delhomme is anything other than a back up.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
Sure, healthy Wallace > injured Delhomme, and maybe even healthy Delhomme, but that remains to be seen, not a sure thing yet. Doesn’t really matter though, until one is healthy.
pdxtribefan - October 10, 2010
So say Delhomme and Wallace are both 100% come next Sunday. Who do you put in? Im genuinely curious, not trying to be a dick.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
I’d probably start Delhomme, but I wouldn’t necessarily expect him to do any better than Wallace. It’s just that for $8 mil, you’ve got to let him burn his bridge all the way down. Then, you make a clean break if necessary. But one half is not enough to make a call on.
pdxtribefan - October 10, 2010
I’ll type slow for you. Wallace could get away from trouble resulting from a bad line because he had a healthy ankle and he is more of a scramblers anyways. Jake is not a scramblers to start with and has a bad ankle – none of which is news – so he can’t make up for poor line play.
JustBob - October 10, 2010
Thats all well and good. Knowing this, Delhomme should not get the start, even when healthy, as he can not move as effectively to avoid the pass rush.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
He is the starter because when healthy he makes more and better throws than Wallace, and can even make throws down the sideline. And he doesn’t run out of bounds behind the LoS.
JustBob - October 10, 2010
Pot calling the kettle black.
StuckInPa - October 10, 2010
Doesn’t help when the pocket collapses the second you grab the ball.
SpecialBrownie - October 10, 2010
Get the hell out of here.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
That is a name I would have given to someone who blamed the QB because his line collapsed in front of him.
JustBob - October 10, 2010
WTH!?!
Spidey - October 10, 2010 via mobile
They are blitzing to put pressure on the Delhomme, he is done
champion64 - October 10, 2010
Maybe we should have given McCoy a feel for the pace of the game
who knows
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
J. Abraham killed us today
deemac3248 - October 10, 2010
THEY
champion64 - October 10, 2010
Joe Thomas needs a stern talking to – at least. And, yes, I am fully aware of what website I’m on.
DaveDawg09 - October 10, 2010
Why does he need a talking to? He just had a bad game — it happens. What is a ‘talking to’ going to do to help?
Buckeye Brad - October 10, 2010
And it’s not like Abraham is some schmuck. Pro Bowl player.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
And there’s always that chance that a pro-bowl DE will go off on you, no matter how good you are.
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
It’s not just this game – it’s been a couple / few times in each game where he’s getting beaten like a screen door in a hurricane. And as far as the “talking to” goes, I certainly wouldn’t suggest benching him or attempting to slap the shit out of him. Both of which I was ready to suggest.
DaveDawg09 - October 10, 2010
Well, it’s been great watching yet another episode of Reality Bites.
portland, oregon - October 10, 2010
Well… let’s just hope we can get over these injuries and be ready for the Steelers next week. Is it in Pittsburgh?
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Yes, it’s in Pukesburgh.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
We’re looking 1 QB and 1 RB down at the moment. Did Ratliff sign elsewhere?
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
yes, i think he’s with the patriots now
davus - October 10, 2010
Time to start praying for Wallace’s ankle then.
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
We should be pointing for the Buffalo game.
palcal - October 10, 2010 via mobile
Well that was fun.
kingcrimson2 - October 10, 2010
We should be pointing for drafting #1. Again.
portland, oregon - October 10, 2010
Too soon to talk about QBs available? Hell, how about anyone on either side of the ball who can be a legit playmaker?
kingcrimson2 - October 10, 2010
We’ve been talking about QBs for a while haha. Even before today we knew we’d be in the market for one. I dont think McCoy is the QBOTF.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
Me either.
kingcrimson2 - October 10, 2010
How can you say that yet? Just wondering why you are quick with all your opinions.
pdxtribefan - October 10, 2010
Well, for one he’s not Holmgren’s guy. We basically just picked him because he fell so far as a value pick. Holmgren knows QBs and I trust Holmgren. That’s why I, personally, don’t think he’s the QBOTF.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
I thought Holmgren basically convinced everyone else to take McCoy, though. Heckert and Mangini had other people in mind, but Holmgren pushed to take McCoy instead.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Yep.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
I could be misinformed.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
And probably am.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Do you have no opinion of him? If you have an opinion, it was just as quickly formed as mine is. Its just different. Don’t let it get to you.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
Yes! Steve Smith finally got a TD catch.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Brandon Lloyd had a monster day.
StuckInPa - October 10, 2010
Yup. Hopefully Moore gets some points. But the guy I’m playing has only 3 more players to go, while I have 5. And I’m up by 24.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
That’s good. I’ll probably have to put him in next week because Mark Clayton left the game today. It sucks seeing 25 points on my bench though.
StuckInPa - October 10, 2010
Yeah. I should’ve started him over Moore. Oh well.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
I should have started Orton.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
I did do that. A last minute meaningless TD really helped me out.
StuckInPa - October 10, 2010
I started Ryan on the theory that one of their receivers would have a big day.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
I started Moore instead of Lloyd because everyone here told me to haha.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
That was the smart play given the Broncos opponent today.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
That’s what I thought too.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Exactly. I can’t believe Orton threw for over 300 yards against the Ravens.
StuckInPa - October 10, 2010
I’d consider 101 yards and a TD a big day.
StuckInPa - October 10, 2010
By ‘big day’ I meant an Anquan Boldin, Terrell Owens type of day.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
Oh, gotcha.
StuckInPa - October 10, 2010
Denard Robinson? That kid from Nebraska looked amazing. The receiver from Georgia?
portland, oregon - October 10, 2010
Draft Denard Robinson — as a QB? In the NFL?? Is this a joke?
Buckeye Brad - October 10, 2010
God I hope so.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Wow at Denard Robinson. Andrew Luck and AJ Green would be my choices for our first pick if we’re looking at offense.
ahowie - October 10, 2010
Agreed.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
I think Luck is going to the Bills with the first pick though.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
We might just have to suck more than them, then!
ahowie - October 10, 2010
We might as well just give our draft pick away if we would consider drafting Denard Robinson.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
And, for the record, I think there would be a 0.00% chance we ever draft Denard Robinson.
DisplacedBuckeye - October 10, 2010
We could draft him in the late rounds as a wildcat/ST guy.
troy145 - October 10, 2010
You guys have a tough team
Good game and some very impressive individual efforts on your part. I wish you luck the rest of the season.
Dave Choate - October 10, 2010
See you guys again the Super Bowl!
troy145 - October 10, 2010
you know, after we both win our conferences…
troy145 - October 10, 2010
Thanks. It is hard to say we are not better but we are still not good. It gets old.
kingcrimson2 - October 10, 2010
Cheers Dave.
You guys made the plays when it counted, good luck for the rest of the way.
LondonBrown - October 10, 2010
Redskins just got a 45 yard FG to tie the Packers.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Soooo uhhhh… Delhomme sucks at football.
Simmsinns - October 10, 2010
Packers have a shot to win it. Hail Mary time with 8 seconds left.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Just kidding. Crosby’s 52 yard field goal hits the post.
emily522 - October 10, 2010
Daaaamn, sucks for them.
Simmsinns - October 10, 2010
OT in Washington.
golanbatrac - October 10, 2010
The Saints have already picked off Hall.
