Lewis spoke to the media for the first time since being placed on injured reserve and said it's possible he could keep playing. Lewis said he suffered a concussion in Week 1 against Minnesota.
The benefit of him not retiring is that he will probably get some sort of roster bonus when he is cut which he would not get if he simply retired. His agent probably clued him in.
The Browns still had him under contract for next year, right? So no extra picks for the Browns as if he had left in FA? (I was never really clear on how that worked anyway.)
