Welcome to this week's Tuesday edition of Around the Pound. Back on Sunday, the New York Jets stunned the San Diego Chargers on the road with a 17-14 victory. It was sort of a sloppy football game, but personally, it turned out to be my favorite game of the postseason thus far because it actually came down-to-the-wire and both teams played well defensively. Props to the Jets for their fine defensive effort, but I look forward to the Indianapolis Colts taking them down this Sunday.

WR/KR Joshua Cribbs is pledging to donate $1 for every member following him on Twitter to the Haiti relief fund. Since the announcement, Cribbs' account has grown by nearly 2,000 members. At the moment, Cribbs is set to donate about $19,000. If you want that number to grow, then head over to Twitter and follow him now.
In addition to their previously-announced awards, LT Joe Thomas and ST Joshua Cribbs have been named to the Pro Football Weekly/Professional Football Writers of America all-NFL team. C Alex Mack made their all-rookie NFL team.
As if to say "thanks for getting me out of Cleveland," even though he is contributing next-to-nothing for the Jets except their eventual demise, Jets WR Braylon Edwards "thanked" Eric Mangini for trading him earlier this season:
"I've got to go on record and thank Eric Mangini for giving me the chance to be a part of Coach Rex," said Jets receiver Braylon Edwards, who was traded in October from Mangini's Browns. "I've never in my life been a part of anything like this. I'm ecstatic. Words can't really describe how I feel. I feel as though we have the ability to go all the way."
The article makes it sound as though Edwards is being sincere, but anything this guy says is going to rub me the wrong way.
Our Jacksonville Jaguars affiliate scored an interview with head coach Jack Del Rio. They are the first NFL blog to have been able to score an interview with a head coach. Unfortunately, I don't get the impression that Eric Mangini would be open to the same thing, but you never know!

Epic.
Andrew Tolliver - January 19, 2010
Indeed; someone commented elsewhere that Downey should be considered for hosting one of these shows in the future.
Chris Pokorny - January 19, 2010
Edwards was not being sincere. Thanking someone for trading you? That is such a jackass comment. The sad part is that even if the playoffs counted to his catch total for the Browns’ conditional pick, we still would not be anywhere close.
Roger Dorn - January 19, 2010
you know whats funny though dorn? once he is let go by the jets for not being able to catch the damn ball, he wont get picked up by other teams because of his non catching ability and attitude, i think he will get the hint then, whether or not it makes him change, remains to be seen!

There’s always the Oakland Raiders.

toushe!!
findlaybrownslover - January 19, 2010
toushe — A lithographic drawing or painting material of the same nature as lithographic ink.
touché — used to acknowledge a hit in fencing or the success or appropriateness of an argument, an accusation, or a witty point.

Well, I’ve learned my new word for the day. (The first one, not the second.) Thanks golanbatrac!
RelapsingDawgCatcher - January 19, 2010
ok merriam webster, lol…. thanks for the correction
i meant the second definition, but thank you!
findlaybrownslover - January 19, 2010
Braylon Apologetics Scale:
Well, jets fans have already moved past —
phase 1: ’He will be a great receiver in a better situation with a real QB and the proper support."
….
and onto Phase 2 : “At least he spreads the field, helps get other WRs open, and blocks well. He’s a great teammate.”
Phase 3 and 4 to follow as they inevitably occur…you’ll just have to wait.
’
johnnyphoenix - January 19, 2010
screw edwards, i though he was a great receiver coming out of michigan, but now that he has money he forgot how to play. get used to being on a team now braylon, you wont be on one for much longer.a diamond in the ruff i think for the right side is brandon carter from texas tech at right gaurd, hes kinda a big boy.i say make cribbs an offer if he turns it down, then offer san fran cribbs and corey williams for one of their first and maybe a fourth!
findlaybrownslover - January 19, 2010
best piece of news here is the return of the Ghostbusters series. ah, childhood memories! apparently sigourney weaver let something slip about bill murray’s character being a ghost in this one. interesting.
Dawg Nuts - January 19, 2010
I would be happy if weaver is back. not only is she great but she has still got it (e.g. Avatar)
bross09 - January 19, 2010
Ghostbusters 2 was so awful that I’m not only not waiting for Ghostbusters 3, but extremely likely not to see it at all.
woodsmeister - January 19, 2010
I tend to agree, once a franchise is ruined (see Indiana Jones 4) all subsequent installments are not worth it. Only exception I can think of is Batman after Batman & Robin.
Roger Dorn - January 19, 2010
but Indiana jones 4 ruined the series. the series was not completely ruined at that point.
I do agree with batman.
there are some where it is sometimes worth it. Ocean’s 13 was pretty good (where i didn’t like Ocean’s 12).
the star trek remake was very good and you could definitely argue that the star trek movie that came out in the late 80’s ruined the franchise
In general, the franchise is ruined (friday the 13th, Halloween, star Wars, the last 2 Matrix movies) but it is not always a set rule.
bross09 - January 19, 2010
You are right, I am assuming future installments of Indiana Jones will also be terrible after the disaster that was number 4.
Roger Dorn - January 19, 2010
yes…
That was a complete disaster…and I hope that they will be better, but I have no Idea
I totally agree with you assessment of number 4…
This is me at the theater watching it…
bross09 - January 19, 2010
On the same note though, this would be a rarity for the movie in the sense that it’d still have the original director, and the original cast would be involved in some capacity. It should be interesting what route they decide to go, whether it be high special effects or the same look/feel but slightly updated.
Chris Pokorny - January 19, 2010
Indiana Jones! Spielberg should have distanced himself from Lucas.
Roger Dorn - January 19, 2010
Wasn’t the idea of an Indiana Jones “re – make” touched on during an old episode of South Park, where re – making the movie ended the world?
SpecialBrownie - January 19, 2010
There were a couple episodes dedicated to Indy. The first episode in Season 6 called Free Hat dealt with how they wanted to re-edit Raiders of the Lost Ark and update it to be more modern.
Then after Indians Jones 4 came out, there was an entire episode dedicated to how they (ruined) Indy. Can’t remember the name of that one.
Roger Dorn - January 19, 2010
I think it was “the china problem”. also the one where cartman thinks chinese ppl are taking over the world.
bross09 - January 19, 2010
Still a rarity :) Not enough of a sample size for me to make a strong opinion.
Chris Pokorny - January 19, 2010
lucas is like the midas of film…except the shit midas
everything he touches these days turns to complete shit garbage
-The new star wars movies
-Star wars: the clone wars
-the New indiana jones
-the young indiana jones home movies
bross09 - January 19, 2010
Those movies combined to make about eleventy billion dollars.
Bernie19Kosar - January 19, 2010
Not only that, but the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles is top-shelf.
golanbatrac - January 19, 2010
sadly they made a lot…
bross09 - January 19, 2010
The new Indiana Jones was the highest grossing of the 4, would you argue it’s the best?
Roger Dorn - January 19, 2010
The fourth movie grossed more because tickets cost more now than they did 20-25 years ago. Here’s the top 100 highest domestic grosses adjusted for ticket price inflation:
http://boxofficemojo.com/alltime/adjusted.htm
The first three Indiana Jones films are all in the top 100 (with Raiders tops at #16). The fourth movie doesn’t make the list.
golanbatrac - January 19, 2010
this is a great list….
the original star wars is still near the top.
I am kinda surprised godfather was up there…amazing movie but I didn’t know it did that great in theaters.
bross09 - January 19, 2010
That is pretty interesting.
Bernie19Kosar - January 19, 2010
Thanks, good list. 4th movie was still horrible and a disaster. (Huge fan of the original 3, all 3 are in my top 10 movies)
Roger Dorn - January 19, 2010
I agree with you. It just amazes me what movies make big money in this country.
Bernie19Kosar - January 19, 2010
I haven’t seen the 4th one yet. I had heard that it wasn’t anywhere near as good as the earlier flicks.
golanbatrac - January 20, 2010
Understatement.
Roger Dorn - January 20, 2010
It will make your head explode and your face melt.
bross09 - January 20, 2010
The clone wars is a great cartoon series, and count me among the few people who think the new films weren’t as bad as everyone likes to pretend they were. people didn’t like them because they weren’t able to make people feel the way the original three did. this has nothing to do with the movies though, it has everything to do with the fact that the people who saw the original in theaters were now 37 instead of 15, so of course it wasn’t going to feel the same.
notthatnoise - January 19, 2010
As further proof that aging is what caused many people to dislike the movies, think about how old you were when you first saw star wars, and ask someone that age whether they like A New Hope or Phantom Menace better, most of them will say Phantom Menace.
notthatnoise - January 19, 2010
I should also point out that george lucas didn’t direct episodes 5 or 6, so he didn’t have as large a role in the original trilogy as many think he did. this isn’t necessarily related to my points above, just food for thought.
I will stop my star wars rant now.
notthatnoise - January 19, 2010
actually I am too young to have seen the old ones in theaters. my opinion is the writing was bad, the acting was wooden and the directing was directionless. the onscreen scenes were chaos and disorganized. whenever there wasn’t action, i would almost fall asleep because they made the script so bland and boring and the plot didn’t captivate me.
bross09 - January 19, 2010
I will say it is impossible to defend the atrocious acting of Hayden Christianson. Unfortunately for me, he’s lined up to play the lead in the movie adaptation of my favorite book, Neuromancer.
notthatnoise - January 19, 2010
You jest. Please, tell me you jest.
OK, against my better judgment, I’m off to Google that.
(Oh, and I like your taste in books, NTN.)
RelapsingDawgCatcher - January 19, 2010
the last I read about it was about a year ago on imdb, i’m actually afraid (or maybe relieved) that it might have been banished to development hell
notthatnoise - January 19, 2010
I think lucas might be off the project from what I can see on Imdb. it is more like in development purgatory…but it is rumored liv tyler will maybe be in it…
on a sidenote, on imdb, i saw lucas is going to make a 5th indiana jones,
bross09 - January 20, 2010
I don’t think lucas was ever doing it, i was referring to hayden christianson.
notthatnoise - January 20, 2010
oh…There is no definite people on the project yet, except the director. on imdb, the only info for people in the movie is the rumor about liv tyler
bross09 - January 20, 2010
Well, a little belated research seems to indicate that no one like Christensen is really attached to the project, save perhaps the director who’s still chipping away at something. I feel better now.
RelapsingDawgCatcher - January 24, 2010
also thanks for the complement on taste. I just finished mona lisa overdrive and count zero last year. I’m currently trying to finish Snow Crash by Niel Stephenson, but its hard during the semester with so much other work to do.
notthatnoise - January 19, 2010
Of WG’s books, All Tommorow’s Parties and Idoru are particularly good.
golanbatrac - January 20, 2010
I have a friend who keeps telling me to read Idoru, maybe that should be next on my list.
notthatnoise - January 20, 2010
Virtual Light is the first in the Bridge Trilogy (VL then Idoru then ATP). You might want to read it first.
golanbatrac - January 20, 2010
I actually have virtual light, i’ve just never read it, so it looks like thats next after Snow Crash, which is great so far btw if you’ve never read it.
notthatnoise - January 20, 2010
BTW, I believe that Stephenson invented the word “avatar” for use in Snow Crash. It’s a seriously phenomenal novel. He’s one of my favorite writers – always something unexpected from him.
drjeo - January 20, 2010
Avatar was actually coined from the sanskrit term “Avatara” which is the reincarnation of a Hindu God. Nice try though.
SpecialBrownie - January 20, 2010
well the word wasn’t linked to computers or video games until snow crash.
http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?term=avatar
notthatnoise - January 20, 2010
and by that i mean he used it for the first time in the way that it is most commonly used today, as a digital representation of a person.
notthatnoise - January 20, 2010
You know, I read Snow Crash and Zodiac back in the day, and while I thought he had some good ideas, I also thought he needed an editor. Like later Heinlein, he seemed to periodically forget he was telling a story and just lapse into research notes.
That was over 15 years ago though, and I’ve been meaning to try him again. You’re a fan
-if I was going to read one of his later books today, do you have a recommendation?(I’m about to go in for some minor surgery and anticipate a few days spent laying on my ass afterward. Good time to catch up on my reading!)
RelapsingDawgCatcher - January 24, 2010
Virtual Light is not my favorite Gibson book, but like golanbatrac said, Idoru and All Tomorrow’s Parties are excellent. There is some payoff to reading VL once you get to the later books, so it’s worth it.
RelapsingDawgCatcher - January 24, 2010
I really liked Snow Crash.
Chemo - January 20, 2010
I haven’t heard of neuromancer, but it sounds good.
at least we can agree on his atrocious acting.
bross09 - January 19, 2010
it’s the genesis of the word “cyberspace,” and is one of the best sci-fi books ever. It even made Time magazine’s top 100 books of the century, no small feet for a sci-fi novel, a genre traditionally viewed with scorn by the literary community.
notthatnoise - January 19, 2010
so this rivals foundation??
bross09 - January 20, 2010
If Lucas had done what he did for Eps 5 and 6 (write and outline and outsource the script to someone who can actually write dialogue), then Eps 1 through 3 would have had a shot to be excellent. A good scriptwriter would have nuked Jar-Jar Binks before he reached the screen and given Christianson some decent lines. He may still have butchered them, but the movies would have had a fighting chance.
woodsmeister - January 19, 2010
yeah christianson wasn’t good by any stretch, but i’m not sure robert downey junior could have saved some of his lines.
notthatnoise - January 19, 2010
actually, I watched phantom menace when I was younger. I had seen the old star wars movies but only once and didn’t remember them. I was young when the phantom menace came out. i still do not like it. it is not just people being nostalgic, it is the fact that they completely sucked
and I really just don’t like the clone wars. no matter how you spin it the plot and storyline didn’t interest me. when I did watch it, i noticed like the phantom menace, that the script was pretty bland. the clone wars are bland and even if all those were fixed, the idea of animated star wars to me is dumb.
bross09 - January 19, 2010
I think the most telling point was when my daughters came out of the theatre talking about ‘Manikin’ Skywalker.
JustBob - January 19, 2010
Wow, I never expected a Star Wars discussion here. IMO, Phantom Menace’s redeeming features are the action and lightsaber fighting scenes. Other than that, ANH beats it by a good mile. And I actually saw TPM first, and I still like the original trilogy. ESB and ROTJ are the best two of the six and I think it’s precisely because Lucas had a lesser role in them. But that’s just me.
Legoman0721 - January 21, 2010 via mobile
the problem with ROTJ is that the ewoks aren’t much better than jar-jar binks. better, but not by much.
i’m such a dork.
Dawg Nuts - January 21, 2010
I disagree. the ewoks were great, cute and awesomely brave. the first time I saw it, I wanted one as a pet…
Who is the dork now??
bross09 - January 21, 2010
the ewoks were a shameless attempt at marketing toys to little kids and girls, much the same way binks was supposed to entertain little kids that would think he was silly.
I think Revenge of the Sith could have been the second best out of all of them, but they let hayden christianson talk, which was a big mistake.
notthatnoise - January 21, 2010
at the same time, the ewoks had much more thought behind them than jar jar…binks was one of the dumbest movie characters in history
bross09 - January 21, 2010

2 for 40 odd wasn’t it? Well he couldn’t lead the pass O in Cleveland so you can see why he’s happy to be a passenger in NY.
On the other hand C&Ping straight from Ohio.com:
Ryan went to the playoffs with a 9-7 record.
Mangini was fired with . . . a 9-7 record.
Ryan went to the playoffs thanks to the fact that his last two opponents packed it in — the Indianapolis Colts and Cincinnati Bengals.
Mangini missed the playoffs because he had two bad losses while playing an injured quarterback who has found new life following surgery and a move to a new team.
In Ryan’s first year, he took a 9-7 team and made it . . . 9-7.
Mangini took a 4-12 team and made it 9-7.
Ryan was present when the Jets persuaded the Browns (and Mangini) to give up the fifth overall pick so the Jets could take quarterback Mark Sanchez.
Mangini was present when the Jets traded up to take Revis, as good a corner as there is in the game.
When Mangini took Revis, Mangini said he had the ‘’core Jets values.’’
Those values are now ‘’core Browns values.’’
Mangini took a center with his first first-round pick with the Browns.
He also took a center with a first-round pick in his first draft in New York. Said center — Nick Mangold — now might be the league’s best.
I’m happy with that direction- Rex might be providing the finish, but Mangini built the foundations
LondonBrown - January 19, 2010
Good points, one and all.
golanbatrac - January 19, 2010
From all accounts living here in NYC, Mangini was the one that really wanted Revis.

I hope you agree with your post. That would mean there are now a few of us on here that believe in Mangini. People were calling for Eric’s head after week 4, my dad included, as I sat back and watched Mangenius do his thing.
I’ve said it before, Mangini built that Jets’ run game and they are tops now. Their defense isn’t too shabby either ;)

“I feel as though

I posted this over on the Colts Blog
…as a response to their thread about being the ‘bad guy.’ Was wondering if most poeple over here agree…
I have to say I really disagree with that statement.
I think the national media portrays that perception, but if you ask most other nfl fans they don’t particularly care for the Jets, found Ryan’s ‘tough guy’ shtick refreshing at first but pretty annoying by this point, and find the concept of any new york team as the ‘noble underdog’ (aside from thwarting the Pats from a perfect season), ridiculous.
Just as the Jets gloated about the Chargers talking smack before last weeks game…now all we hear is the Jets talking…and a notable silence from the Colts. Why? I get the impression the Jets need to talk about how tough they are…the Colts have been-there-done-that, and really are just setting about doing this the way they usually do. Just my impression. An article in the NY media this week sort of made fun of Colts fans for not really getting too upset when a Jets fan toured around Indy talking smack and Colts fans kind of looked at him and said…‘Well, good luck.’
I take that as more of a ‘Well, you go ahead and do your thing if you think it’ll help. But you know, and we know, and you know we know, and we know you know…what’s going to happen, so really there’s no need to talk about it at this point."
Now bear in mind, I have to admit, as a Browns fan here I am not unbiased as I cannot stand Braylon Edwards. That being said, regardless of Braylon I found it pretty amazing how a team/fan base such as the Jets can somehow so quickly (notably this week already) exude a nauseating cockiness about their status as ‘underdogs’ and the ’nation’s favorites.’ They’re a solid, tough, team…and deserve to be where they are. Other than that…well, I guess that’s it.
Trust me…don’t be fooled Colts fan…. IRL, not the media, there is very little thought of the Jets as ’America’s team.’ Besides, as the Cowboys know…when you label yourselves that…you forfeit all possibility of it actually being true….
…and aside from all that, from a purely matchup standpoint…Do you guys think most unbiased nfl fans would rather see the Jets in the Super Bowl instead of Manning Vs. Brees or Manning Vs. Favre?
johnnyphoenix - January 19, 2010
I think most people would rather see manning vs them (and probably vs favre, but true fans probably would rather see brees).
I think the jets vs the Colts is the most interesting matchup…
Think about the 2 teams…think that the jets have a rookie QB that they want to be the face of the franchise…the colts have an elite veteran QB and one of the best in the game.
bross09 - January 19, 2010
Actually I think Colts/Jets will be very much like Colts/Ravens…except with perhaps fewer mistakes by the Jets (as opposed to the Ravens). I look for a rather low scoring affair…
Colts 20-10
johnnyphoenix - January 19, 2010
I dunno…I think most people across the NFL would prefer Favre/Manning…or rrespective of Qb’s they would rather see high scoring….i.e. 45-42 Vs. 16-10. I think you are more likely to get 45-42 with Colts/Vikings Colts/Saints rather than Jets/Vikings Jets/Colts.
To me, Braylon aside…just a good. close affair will do.
johnnyphoenix - January 19, 2010
Oops. Meant Jets/Saints
johnnyphoenix - January 19, 2010
I know a lot of ppl would prefer to watch favre/manning. that would draw higher ratings. but at the same time, I feel hardcore fans might want to see brees/manning face off
I was comparing colts/jets in a historical sense.

Yeah, I’m sure he is a virgin.
Bernie19Kosar - January 20, 2010
and i’m sure she’s a wholesome churchgoer
notthatnoise - January 21, 2010
I actually read something about this, but the girl in the bottom right is not Tebow’s gal, but rather Lucy Pinder, the British model. As for the girl Tebow has his arm around, he denied in a Dan Patrick interview even knowing who she is, just that she asked for a photo with him.
Roger Dorn - January 21, 2010
yeah, ok timmy ;)
notthatnoise - January 21, 2010
Hahahaha.
Well I can definitely detect the doucheness (not a word haha) of Tebow and Ben. One thing I never understood is why people thought Quinn was a douche. I guess it was because he was coming out of ND and very good looking ;). But he never appeared overly arrogant like Clausen has.
emily522 - January 21, 2010
Ben’s really sober.
emily522 - January 22, 2010
Even with a /sarc disclaimer these three three comments were just… no.
Not cool.
SpecialBrownie - January 20, 2010
Actually, scratch that. I take it back. I was a little hasty on my disapproval.
SpecialBrownie - January 20, 2010
It’s a scientific phenomenon. Science.
Villeslgr - January 21, 2010
…Who is that?
emily522 - January 21, 2010
That’s nobody. The guy below is Ben.
Villeslgr - January 22, 2010
Oh, okay.
emily522 - January 22, 2010
Wait, that’s Ben?!?!
emily522 - January 21, 2010
Oh, God… I do not watch Jersey Shore or MTV. I watch good shows like The Office and Family Guy, haha. Occasionally I watch the Bachelor but I think it’s ridiculous because they all make fools out of themselves.
emily522 - January 21, 2010
Agreed. I don’t think the Jets will be able to handle being in the spotlight after an entire week of media focus. I’ve heard more interviews with Jets’ players this week than I have in my whole life. Once you make a persona as the tough underdog, it’s hard to readjust to it when you no longer seem like the underdog.
gahnki - January 19, 2010
I find it odd that Rex actually enjoys the cameras because of… well, you know. The fact that he probably literally has a roast in the “oven” every press conference. The man can eat a horse. Once again, literal!
SpecialBrownie - January 19, 2010
and rex would make that horse joke too.
bross09 - January 20, 2010
Human Target is like 24 except with some good humor and minus the suck.
SpecialBrownie - January 20, 2010
Banned.
Chris Pokorny - January 20, 2010
I watched the first couple of seasons of 24 and it was a damn good show.
golanbatrac - January 20, 2010
I watched the first three years of 24, got out of it for awhile, and watched the first half of last season until life events interrupted. So far, I’d have to say that this year’s incarnation is my favorite of everything I’ve seen. It’s been very good so far.
gahnki - January 20, 2010
Well I just don’t get into it and last season seemed particularly suckish. The plot of one show = one hour and a season = one day is stupid and just doesn’t make sense. So the man has had what? 5-ish days of field work. Wow.
SpecialBrownie - January 20, 2010
No, he’s probably had thousands of days of field work by now. They only show the most significant ones, the 24-hour spans that caused the most hell in Jack Bauer’s life.
Chris Pokorny - January 20, 2010
I’m on your side SB. The show stinks.
Brownie's Year - January 20, 2010
Loved 24 Season 1 and 2. Season 3 started to suck, I stopped watching it and haven’t turned on an episode since.
Ryan Kelsey - January 20, 2010
The thing about 24 is, you aren’t going to find another show that simulates a high-budget Hollywood action film like it does. It simply costs too much for the networks to gamble on it when they can spin out American Idol for veritable pennies. I enjoy it because it’s much different than the current reality craze that has defined television this decade.
gahnki - January 20, 2010
Agreed.
I guess I’m not that much of a fan of high-budget Hollywood action films that have strained plots, corny dialogue and mild character development.
But, in the same way, I miss The West Wing. That thing was written, directed, produced, and acted like it was an Oscar winning picture every week.
There are almost no worth-while dramas on the networks these days.
Ryan Kelsey - January 21, 2010
House is great.
Buckeye Brad - January 21, 2010
I do watch the occasional House. Seems like every episode has the same story line, but it is done very well and Hugh Laurie is awesome.
Ryan Kelsey - January 22, 2010
I remember Hugh from 101 Dalmations.
Villeslgr - January 22, 2010
I remember hugh, from fry and laurie, and blackadder. that was good stuff…
bross09 - January 22, 2010
Favorite movie when I was little.
emily522 - January 22, 2010
You’re right, the story line is pretty much the same most of the time (patient has an odd diagnosis which nobody can figure out until House has a sudden epiphany near the end of the show while he’s doing something random). But the writing is great and Hugh is fantastic as you said. There’s plenty of other story lines going on to keep the show interesting. Plus he’s just so damn funny.
Buckeye Brad - January 22, 2010
I think the best show on TV is Dexter.
Bernie19Kosar - January 22, 2010
I want to give that shot a try. Probably wait til I can get it at the library though.
Ryan Kelsey - January 22, 2010
Won’t regret it.
Rare case when the show is better than the books.
Bernie19Kosar - January 22, 2010
oh…the books aren’t as good??? I still might read them anyways.
I just started getting into it about a month or so ago. someone was talking about it and I started watching it…now I just have a craving for it…
It is a pretty amazing show…
bross09 - January 22, 2010
Season 3 was garbage, but Season 4 more than made up for it. Absolutely brilliant finale.
Roger Dorn - January 22, 2010
Season 3 was bad???
I am only up to the first episode of season 2.
bross09 - January 22, 2010
I didn’t think season 3 was bad, it was just the worst of the four.
The ending of season four was epic.
I got three text messages inside of 10 seconds.
Bernie19Kosar - January 23, 2010
The Office :)
emily522 - January 22, 2010
I’ve honestly never heard of Dexter. What station is it on and what’s it about?
Buckeye Brad - January 22, 2010
Showtime. Michael C Hall plays a Miami PD forensic specialist who moonlights as a serial killer. He lives by a code where he only will kill really bad people. In the first season you learn about why he is the way that he is, and much more. Highly recommended.
Roger Dorn - January 23, 2010
Ah, but I don’t get Showtime. Maybe I can find the first few season on DVD. My wife is a science teacher and she teaches a forensics class so she might really like that show.
Buckeye Brad - January 23, 2010
Even if you did have Showtime, the DVDs are so inexpensive and the show is so good that it’s worth buying anyway.
golanbatrac - January 23, 2010
Yeah you can find them used at places like a moviestop for around 10-15 a season.
Worth it, big time.
Bernie19Kosar - January 23, 2010
They’re only $19.99 new on Amazon. I don’t think I paid much more than that at Walmart.
golanbatrac - January 23, 2010
Pfft. I can get them for free.
SpecialBrownie - January 24, 2010
Demonoid?
RelapsingDawgCatcher - January 24, 2010
Wow. You torrent?
Awesome.
SpecialBrownie - January 24, 2010
I’d be lost without it. I mean, where else am I going to find the extended director’s cut of THE LEGEND OF 1900?

Wow it block quoted my comment space and my signature. That is an awesome SN mess-up.
SpecialBrownie - January 20, 2010
I didn’t think that was possible.
Ryan Kelsey - January 20, 2010
FANSHOT THIS
SpecialBrownie - January 20, 2010
Haha ok.
emily522 - January 20, 2010
Chuck is currently the best show on television.
