Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk cites a league source claiming that WR Syndric Steptoe will be out for the entire season with a shoulder injury. Earlier in the day, it was reported that Steptoe was carted off the field after he injured his shoulder during practice today. However, it wasn't believed to be too serious of an injury. Again, this has not been officially confirmed yet.

I feel bad for him. They probably will IR him now and he will have to wait for next year to try and get a roster spot. That’s the nature of the game though.

feel bad for him, but cribbs should be the slot receiver anyway

I love Cribbs, but barring significant injury, Furrey and Robo are both ahead of him for the slot receiver role I suspect.
